The scene is more graphic than any FX in a horror flick so the eyelashes of one eye actually flutter as though Rina’s trying desperately to snap out of the spell she’s under, but her soul’s presently banished from the real world and her body’s little more than an empty husk. When Septimus has shed his entire Chester costume like python skin, he nudges aside the shapeless man on the floor with his straitjacket-like trench coat’s billowing and feetless bottom. Now Atropos is revealed in his full goth splendor, from the sweeping skirt of the trench coat to the space-defying beak of his plague doctor mask.

I tell my reflection. As I approach the spiral staircase, a guard motions for me to stop while he announces me. “Announcing Miss Sienna Hale, Future Queen Luna.” He taps his staff on the floor twice. The knocking echoes, bouncing off the high vaulted ceilings. As I begin my descent, Arthur steps into view. Greek god, I think to myself. Arthur’s suit is a three-piece charcoal gray wool ensemble, featuring a single-breasted jacket, a matching vest, and trousers. Both his silk tie and pocket square are a deep emerald green that perfectly match my dress and accent his crisp white button-down shirt.

I applied my make up with the thought of softening my prominent features to better disguise myself and completed the look with a deep red lipstick. I stepped out and Emerson whistled. Tally quickly slapped his arm as if offended. Was she jealous? Is there something going on with those two? Tally went with a Harley Quinn costume, which honestly suits her personality well. Emerson thought he was being funny by dressing up like a vampire. Percy was dressed like a Mafia guy with a pinstripe black suit. He even had a matching hat. Then there's Kellan who of course decided to dress like prince charming. "Let's go." I told them all. It was now dark outside and time to get things rolling.

I put him down and captured his pose using my phone’s camera. He stuck out his tongue. “I want to see my friends' costumes.” He said and reached for my hand. I let him pull me out of his room. We bumped into Carlo and his dog. He’s dressed up as Batman. His dog has a black bow tie and a red cape. “The magicians are here!” Carlo looked very excited. “Nanny Jean please take a picture of us.” I handed my phone to Calvin’s Nanny. “Okay. Smile guys.” Nanny Jean said and took some shots of us.

I said trying to quickly distract him from coming to the inevitable realization of the situation. He immediately glanced over my shoulder at what I was trying to hide. It felt like he was a stressed-out parent who happened to stumble upon a disobedient child’s mess. Now that we weren’t standing so close; I could see he was dressed in what seemed to be an alien warrior costume made up completely of some type of rose gold armor with matching gauntlets, spartan style armor vest, and black and rose gold futuristic combat pants and boots with straps that had some cool light effects that made it look like they were glowing. He even had a mask that looked like a cross between a clear high-tech face

"Who are you?" Shadow asked as he coughed loudly. The footsteps got closer until they stopped in front of him. He looked up and saw the man wearing a mask and wearing all white clothing, slightly visible inside the room because of the light coming inside the door. Daimon grabbed his chin and scanned his face from left to right. "You look familiar…" he murmured before getting closer to Shadow's fucked up face. "You do too." Shadow spat out blood as he coldly stared at him, realizing who he was. The assassin who attacked Keisha who wore white clothes to stain himself with the blood of the people he killed was standing in front of Shadow now.

I felt so exposed. "Come on Via, let me see" I finally open the curtain and step out. I do a 360 and she shakes her head. "Your dad will kill me if I let you go out in this" She covers my chest area "Who makes these costumes? Seriously." She points at the Harley Quinn costume. "Try on that one next. I have high hopes for it." I nod and walk back into the dressing room. I slowly get out of the nurses costume and change into the Harley Quinn one.

Jack whispered, a breathtaking, genuine smile stretching across his face. Marcus stood a half-step behind him, exactly where the Bastion was supposed to be. The boxer wore a sleek, sleeveless combat rig of dark grey kinetic fabric that highlighted the heavy, scarred muscle of his massive arms. His hands were bound in fresh, pristine athletic tape, but beneath the fabric, the Liquid Silver mana was already simmering, coiled and ready.

Xander chimes in, clapping his hands three times. I giggle and leave the packhouse, making my way to Mama Lil and Papa Garren's cottage. - An hour later we are all ready to go. They guys are all dressed casually. Arkham looks so handsome in a pair of white shorts and a black summer button-up shirt, his tattoos are on shown. He has smart sports shoes on. He's also wearing two silver necklaces, and his hair is styled perfectly messy and sexy. What the hell is wrong with me!?!?

But he had no reason to be, so would he? "Jace," I said. "Uh, hi." He took a step towards me, his hands still in his pockets. "I figured you guys would be here," he said. "Looks like I was right, eh Batman?" I was getting more and more nervous with every word he said, but I had no idea why. Maybe it was the fact that I was dressed up as my favourite superhero—the underwear part of the costume. The whole situation was messed up and farfetched, though it was reality right now. It was also a very embarrassing reality.
