Let me cleanse. Kairis stumbled as a banshee bit her arm. She stabbed it through the eye, snarling. "Elias! Do it!" Elias opened his eyes. Golden flames exploded from his back, his wings stretching wider. But now—a third flame appeared. Black and red. The mark of Azazel fully activated. Dorian shielded his face. "Gods..." Elias lifted his arm and aimed at the remaining spirits. The flames erupted in a spiral. Elias raised a hand. "Fall back, now!" his voice rang through the smoke-choked battlefield.

There was no turning back. “I, Damon Westwood before the elders and members make this vow in spirit and soul" he began. I repeated after him and then he began to recite the vows. “Before the eternal stars and the silent moon,I kneel in shadow and light alike.I vow to bind my breath to the living, my blade to the forgotten,my soul to the endless hunt.” He started. I repeated after him and he continued. Our voices were the only thing we could hear. “By ash and by fire, by blood and by dust,I renounce slumber while the fanged still walk.Let no glamour cloud my sight, let no darkness sway my spirit” he said and I repeated again.

"I do." Another figure, an elder cloaked in vines and flame, spoke next. "Will you purge corruption not with rage, but with clarity?" Arla-Rosa breathed, and flame spilled from her lips. "I will." A third spirit, a child, no older than Celeste, whispered, "Will you protect the balance, not just your kin?" Tears spilled from Arla’s eyes. "Yes." The spirits encircled her. A seal of flame etched itself across her back, living ink born from legacy. "Then rise, Flamebearer. And burn only what must never live."
