When the Clouds Finally Break

When the Clouds Finally Break

On the day my daughter is discharged from the hospital after recovering from the flu, I run into my ex-husband, Zachary Levine, whom I have been divorced from for seven years. He is there to pick up his wife, who has just given birth. He looks a little surprised as his gaze moves up and down to take in my clothes, which is still stained from my child's vomit. I had no time to change out of it earlier. "Long time no see. How have you been lately?" he asks. I smile and say I am doing fine. As we are about to part, he grabs my arm. "Alyssa, our son misses you a lot. If you are having any difficulties, don't push yourself. The passcode for the house in the north of the city is still your b

The Billionaire's Regret After I Died

The Billionaire's Regret After I Died

“Well, whoever he is, he takes good care of you.” I did not respond. Strands of hair fell away. The motion was quiet, precise. No one stared. No one hesitated. No one asked questions they were not entitled to. When it was finished, I thanked them and stepped back into the city. ******** Cloud Top rose above the skyline like a polished blade of glass, its entrance glowing softly against the night. When I stepped inside, the air was cool and clean, scented faintly with citrus and wine. Everything felt muted here. Designed to make people lower their voices.

Trapped in Love With You

Trapped in Love With You

That man jeez. She decided to just knock off that in her mind, that it never happened at all. She looks to the window and indulge herself with the beautiful view of the top. She's happy to see the clouds. What it feels like to touch the clouds? She look down and see the buildings, the ocean. She's smiling, she's now on top of it.

it's crazy how she makes me happy with only a simple smile. I'm going to buy two more tickets so that we can reach a higher height in the Nacelle of the CN TOWER. Seems to be one of the tallest observation decks in the world. I invite Tiara to enter the elevator who leaves us from the Belvedere up to 33 floors higher. The Earth seems to disappear as we go up. Arrived there, I smile at her and she looks at me curiously. " So...what are we doing now?" She asked me

The book has potential but needs major editing. I, myself is not so good in English too but I still write. The trick is knowing how to use simple words and research a lot..good luck with your work😇😇😇.

While the writing might need some editing, one cannot deny that the author is a gifted storyteller. She writes in a way that you can feel the main character, Tiara's anguish when she chooses her father over her mother and brother. Am definitely going to add this to my library.

Devil's Redemption

Devil's Redemption

A laugh broke from her chapped lips, and she pointed at the coming hope. “Look, bird, God is bestowing his blessing upon us, finally. Look, the cries of my pulpit have melted the skies and forced them to cry with them. Heaven has decided to grant us the mercy for the sins we’ve committed and shower us with the essence of purity.” She said, feeling delighted and opened her arms in the air welcoming the new guests. The clouds thundered hard as they shadowed over the Alvar. Sobs racked her chest, and her body shook as she cried in happiness. Kneeling on the ground as her legs felt strained because of climbing so many stairs, she didn’t budge her warm brown orbs from the ethereal sky to make sur

Only God knew the things he may force her to do. “Do you think that he…?” “Touched her? I don’t care, because I am going to kill him.” He didn’t let me finish, and his answer had me grinning like an idiot. Enzo and I were opposite sides of one coin. When he moved, I moved as well. “Boss Vernero, Boss Lorenzo, we are flying over the Atlantic Ocean, and there is strong turbulence ahead. Please fasten your seat belts.” The stewardess informed stepping from the cockpit. I nodded at her and faced outside at the dark sky, covered by angry dark clouds.

Our Beautiful Beginning

Our Beautiful Beginning

I wave Andre over, my second in command. "Who are those two women?" I point towards the pair. "I'm not sure afentikó (boss), I can bring them up here if you'd like?" "Yes, bring them up, use force if you have to." I'm intrigued by this mysterious woman and I don't even know her name yet. Andre descends down the steps and makes his way towards them. He points to the second floor and says something, my woman shakes her head no while her friend looks enthusiastic and gives her a pleading look. She finally relents, Andre escorts them up the stairs and into my booth. Now that she's standing closer I can see that her eyes are a dark midnight blue and her lips are full and fuckable.

My boss wants me

My boss wants me

I keep crying until I give in and let sleep take over. I wake up much later, at dusk, feeling much better. I take a look outside and the sun is barely hanging in the sky but creates the most beautiful shade of orange with it's little rays shooting through the clouds. The sky looks do ethereal right now. It's out of this world. This is picture worthy. “ Are you okay?" Tianna startles me out of my nature admiration session. “ Yeah" I say dryly “ I'm okay. Just admiring nature. See how beautiful the sky looks. See how that cloud looks like a trombone with purple hue. God really is creative."

Cross out my boyfriend who is unfortunately not here with me, missing the amazing place. The wind is blowing pretty kind of strong that's messing up my hair but it felt warm against my skin. The picturesque view of the beach as it calmly wets the shore, is astoundingly beautiful. It's so peaceful here and I just couldn't find any words to hate this place because this is a piece of paradise. Far from the busy streets of New York. Far from pollution. Far from the media. Far from everyone who wants to butt in into our lives.

The Billionaire's Game

The Billionaire's Game

The yacht gently rocked with the current, the sound of the water lapping against its hull the only noise around them. They had made their way to the top deck, where large cushions were scattered on the floor, perfect for lounging under the open sky. Nadia, ever the adventurer, flopped down first, stretching out her legs and tilting her face towards the sky. The clouds had gathered, dark and fluffy, giving the sky a soft, overcast feel. It wasn’t the bright, sunny weather they were used to seeing, but it was beautiful in its own way. The clouds seemed to roll gently across the heavens, shifting in slow, graceful patterns, while the occasional bird soared high above, cutting through the air wi

Frequently Asked Questions

I picked up 'Somewhere above the Clouds' on a whim, and wow, it completely swept me away. The story blends this quiet, melancholy beauty with moments of pure exhilaration—like when the protagonist, a young pilot, navigates through a storm and suddenly breaks into clear skies. The author’s descriptions of flight are so vivid, you can almost feel the turbulence and the weightlessness. It’s not just about flying, though; it digs into themes of grief and finding purpose, which hit me harder than I expected. I cried during the scene where the main character scatters ashes over the ocean—it was raw and poetic at the same time.

What really stuck with me, though, is how the book balances technical details about aviation with deeply human emotions. It never feels like a manual or a sob story; it’s just this perfect middle ground. If you’re into stories that make you pause and stare at the ceiling for a bit, this one’s a gem. Also, the side characters—especially the gruff mechanic with a hidden soft side—add so much warmth. I finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted to reread certain passages.
