I did not know ghosts could feel revulsion! Jasmine buried herself in Connor's arms, allowing him to carry her back to bed. He sat on the edge of her bed, humming gently to coax her to sleep. Jasmine's eyes were closed as she savored that moment, so she did not notice how Connor's gaze flitted to the door. I was so bored that I leaned against the windowsill to gaze at the view. I would give anything to go home! Finally, after Jasmine had drifted off to sleep, Connor tiptoed out of the room. He took out his phone and pulled up our chat. The last message between us had been from me. It was a sticker, a pink pig blowing kisses.

Moana One night, I was reading a bedtime story to Ella when I found myself nodding off in the chair by her bed. I didn’t wake up until a couple of hours later. She was fast asleep and I didn’t want to wake her, so I quietly got up and slipped back into my room to go back to sleep. When I walked back into my room, I didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary, seeing as how tired I was. I moved my sketchbook aside and climbed into the covers, and quickly fell asleep.

It has been a long day for both of us. At eight in the evening I finally settle down on my bed with the book I was reading from earlier. Tomorrow, I and Mom will go out and get some groceries. After reading for fifteen minutes or so, my eyelids feel heavy and I yawn loudly! Putting the book away on the side table and switching the reading light off, I lie comfortably pulling up the soft duvet over my head and soon fall asleep! -- I don’t know how long I have been asleep but I move uncomfortably on the bed and slowly I open my eyes and jump up on the bed scared and shocked!

I whispered with a loving smile, "which story would you like tonight?" Mathew's face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. "The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!" I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf's grand adventure. Mathew listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.

But…he did tell me not to go. So, with a little shrug, I make my way back to the bed, leaving the little fire on to light the room a little bit while I sleep. And then I curl up in the bed where Kent tucked me in a few hours before, trying to keep my eyes open to read a little more of the book, but eventually falling asleep with my cheek pillowed on the page.

Maa said, making me smile. I kissed her cheek and went towards my room...my heaven. After freshening up we had our dinner and went towards our rooms. I sat near the window seat of my room and started doing some work on my laptop. I finished my work and looked towards my clock to see it's 3:30 am.
