Before I Go To Sleep Book Novels & Stories

The book, entitled Olive and The Wishing Star by Jennifer Decker, is indeed very good and suitable for children. Having just read a few pages, Emily was already fast asleep. I kissed his forehead. Covered neatly. Turn off the main light so that only the night light is on, then leave it alone. Night's getting late. The time is already 12:04 PM. I still can't sleep. I took the cell phone which was on the table near the bed. Swipe the screen. It had Stephanie's name on it. No! I can't bother him. Maybe he was having fun with his friends.

Who on earth could be up this late at night and what could they possibly want? I got up, put on my robe and headed for the door. I always sleep in a t-shirt and my underwear. I can't wear pjs as I always get really hot and sweaty so I avoid wearing something light and nestling in an extra blanket.

Rex's POV Falling asleep that night was harder than I expected. I guess the adrenaline of what tomorrow could bring just wouldn’t let my mind rest. But eventually, after tossing and turning, I found enough peace to drift off. That’s when the dream hit me. It was about the book. The symbol on its cover came to life, glowing and pulsing, whispering over and over—“It’s almost time.” Time for what? It wouldn’t say. That phrase kept echoing until I jolted awake, heart pounding, sweat clinging to my skin.

Another yawn slips out, and I decide it's time to call it a night. “Don’t forget to put the pillows up,” I mumble, just before sleep finally takes over.

I felt like I'd overstayed my welcome, and it was time to go back to my place of dwelling. "I should go," I went to grab my handbag. "I have to drive back." Mia nodded. "Have a safe drive back, and call me anytime," she said as she embraced me. I was starting to get very accustomed to her hugs. "I'd love to answer any questions you have." I nodded, and thanked her for her time. She reached to take a book off a shelf near the wall, and passed it to me. It read, 'Night Terrors' by Katie Roosevelt, an author that I'd never heard about before.

It was already 9 pm, and I was really tired, but the book was so interesting, demigods, minotaurs, camp half blood . As much as I wanted to keep on reading, I couldn't, last night I didn't get much sleep and its all coming back right now. Its not like I've been so busy today, I haven't done anything, I was more sleepy than I was tired. Sighing, I marked my page, 237, and placed it on the sofa and headed towards my room. But not before I made sure to close all the curtains in the cottage. Especially the one in my room. It was the creepiest. I shut the door and crawled up the bed and under the blanket. Some sleep will surely recharge me. As my breathing starts to slow and even out, Emma's voice makes me snap my eyes open. To my surprise, she's reading aloud from her book, her words soft and gentle. A part of me wants to protest while another part of me wants to hear the story. I silently fume in my seat until the kid in me wins out, and I loosen my muscles and close my eyes again. Emma's soothing voice echoes around the room, and soon enough, I'm drifting off to sleep.

I began working on my book because there was one thing I told myself I would never do; go to bed angry. Nearly an hour after midnight, I was almost done with an edit for chapter 11 of my book. I realized that was where the ending wasn’t making sense, but I continued to look over the rest of my chapters to be safe. It was about 1:30 AM when I emailed the third draft to Jesse and headed off to bed. I woke up the following day and went to the kitchen for breakfast. Mom was cooking when I walked in, “Good morning, Snowflake.” Mom said; I smiled,

It was fun shopping and finally having some girl time with her and me not being stressed because of finals or exams. Well, a diary I need to go to sleep so good I closed the book and got up from my desk to go brush my teeth and turn off the lights as soon as I went to the bed after changing into my comfortable peach-colored pj's, the feeling of the soft mattress made my eyes heavy and my body soon fall into a deep sleep.

“And so am I. I’m going to bed. Sleep tight, guys.” They murmur their goodnights as I swing my velvet curtain shut and flop onto my bed in despair, burying my face into my pillow. “Whoa,” I hear Jesse’s voice say out in the room as the bathroom door creeks open. “Where did everyone go?” Predictably, it takes me forever to fall asleep, not least because Jesse, Ben, and Rafe stay up for a while, talking softly. I get changed into the pajamas that Daphne thoughtfully packed into my uniform box and re-braid my hair once it’s dry, but it’s the Chemistry book, in the end, which really does the trick.
