That's was all I asking for–to be loved, yet it seemed to me like a far-fetched dream. After fifteen minutes, I came out of the shower, dried my body, and put on a silky blue nightwear, then laid back on the bed. Some seconds of turning and tossing told me that sleep had left me and with a sigh, I wrapped the comforter over myself and went to the living room.

“Holy shite!” I spent the next hour going through page by page. However, it seemed that the book always managed to place a new page at the back as soon as I finished reading one page because I’d never gotten through the book despite the five hours of sleep that I’d foregone. Right before the breaks of dawn, I reached an interesting page filled with names.

I am coming. I booked flights at midnight. Elijah was not even fully awake when I climbed back into bed but he must have registered something in the way I was moving because he rolled over and said, with his eyes still closed, "Are we going somewhere?" And I said yes and I am sorry and I will tell you everything in the morning and he said okay and reached for my hand under the duvet and held it until I fell asleep which took about forty minutes because my brain had absolutely no intention of shutting down quietly.

I entered my study room to read and go through some books before it is midnight. After I had chanted I went to sleep on my bed. I was tired so I didnt see the time I slept.

Leaving her laptop, she went to sit beside him on the bed and began to tell him the same story she had told him every night. When she saw that he had begun to sleep, she put a cover over him and helped him lie down. Afterward, she went back to what she was doing.

I patted her shoulder and went back to my bed to continue thinking of my predicament. *** I was sitting on my bed, reading ahead of class when I suddenly began to feel sleepy. I wanted to read the chapter till the end but my eyes were too heavy to continue. I put the book down and lay my head to sleep and in a few minutes, I was gone. I hadn’t slept for long when I suddenly felt something. My eyes flung open. What was that?

I sigh and focus on the book in front of me. I finish five minutes before curfew and get into bed, falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. Doing homework is hard work, and I’m tired to the bone. Sadly, it’s going to take some time to catch up on everything I missed.

I whispered with a loving smile, “Which story would you like tonight?” Mike’s face lit up with excitement, his tiny hands reaching for his favorite book. “The one about the brave little wolf, Mumma!” I chuckled as I opened the book, a captivating story about a young wolf’s rand adventure. Mike listened with rapt attention, his eager eyes fixed on the pages as I spun the tale of bravery and exploration. By the time I reached the part where the little wolf found solace under the silvery glow of the moon, my son was already fast asleep.
