Behind Her Eyes Book Novels & Stories

She then felt his torso flexing and then the book she was reaching for, slid in her vision. “Here,” he drew her attention to the book in his soft voice. She fought back her growing nervousness and gingerly took the book from his hand. Slowly turned around to face him. His green eyes sucked her in immediately. They had to be the best pair of eyes she had ever seen- so kind, so gentle, so full of warmth. She knew they also held a darkness of their own. She had caught on the coldness lurking around the corner of his eyes, waiting to take over. Se hadn’t seen their dark side but she could tell it would be just as beautiful.

She closed her eyes, attempting to grasp onto the fading recollection of the last moments. In the midst of her thoughts, the image of those piercing gray eyes emerged vividly. "He... Zain..., Black," she murmured softly, her gaze shifting towards Misty. With a surge of panic, she threw off her blanket and bolted, driven by the instinct to find safety in hiding.

Her eyes were teary for nth time because his empathetic gesture was like a drizzle of rain washing the sorrows that fatigued her body to the brink of wishing death. "Confide to me a secret you won't ever think of telling people who know you. C'mon, we're practically strangers." She persuaded him persistently. He averted look and sighed which meant a big no, apparently. Something must have overtaken him causing the photo to slip his fingers. Thankfully, she was fast enough to catch their valuable keepsake! She turned, about to spit fire at him for his carelessness but his obsidian pair of eyes paralyze her body. They bore pain so intense, it lures her into taking half of it to alleviate his s

To be honest, my libido went up, causing irregular pulses in several parts of my body. We arrived at a room. A woman with horns and red eyes flashed, intercepted. "A new girl again?" She asked. "She's not a prisoner for you to take her soul," Kevin argued without answering the horned woman's question. "So she's not my meal candidate?" I started to get goosebumps. Meal candidate? So the horned girl was going to eat me and Jack brought me here on purpose to... “Jack… who is that woman?” I whispered. “She is… she is… my wife….”

, Fleki whispers, “No, I can hear her heart beating.” Rubbing my eyes as they opened, briefly blinded by the late afternoon sun beaming through the forest canopy above where I lay. I squinted, and when my eyes finally focussed, I realised a pair of eyes glistening with gold, and long black lashes that curled upwards, so intensity that made me gasp, were staring right back at me. “Please don't hurt me “. Frantically I started searching the ground for something to protect myself with. Then, realising my search was futile, I abruptly sat up, trying to muster as much dignity as I could.

As I made my way towards the hall I saw a girl with jet black hair facing the windows As she heard my footsteps she turned around My breath stopped for a second. The only word that came to my mind was. Beautiful Deep blue eyes were staring at me with innocence. I moved towards her but as I took my first step Ezra's face came in front of me The day I first saw her eyes while I held her tiny body in my arms The fear in her baby blue eyes The mask that covered her face The way she stepped back when I tried to remove her mask The way she vanished just like she came Automatically I closed my eyes

I just scratched the back of my head and looked her in the eyes. “That's the truth of me,” I stopped speaking for a moment and lowered my gaze to her flawless thighs as if one move she could reveal her most hidden and guarded legend. Instead of avoiding that look, i just closed my eyes and took another deep breath to keep the looming temptation from my mind. “What are you doing? are you praying?” she inquired after i closed my eyes. “Listen carefully to me. Look behind you,” I told her. I can't even open my eyes now, but i'm sure of the expression on her face now in front of me.

She sobs and I hold her tight. "Did you see that girl's eyes? They are like gold." "Yellow eyes." "They must be contacts." "She has always been a little odd." I glance up and there are some students passing by and looking at us. It never crossed my mind that mind-reading would affect my eyes too. "Mia we should go. We are drawing too much attention. My eyes are..." She wiped her tears with the back of her hand and nodded. *****

It was a paradox, what was happening in her eyes. She felt another sector of the powers in her belly open its eyes. It was then she knew that the power was in levels or layers. She had just been operating on the surface level all this while. When the woman finally let her go a minute later, she rushed to the car, and checked by the side window, gasping when she saw her eyes. They were like twin orbs of fire mixed with water, overturning and overturning on each other, like the yin and yang. She looked hideous! Was this how her eyes will be? She couldn’t even see her pupils? Would Kaden still want her?
