"What happens when a thief tries to use the owner's key?" "Jack, get back!" Valerius shouted, his claws extending. "They're charging the main railgun!" I lifted my left hand. The "Entropy Hand." It was wrapped in bandages, stiff and calcified, looking more like a piece of dead wood than a limb. I couldn't articulate the fingers. I couldn't make a fist. So, I just slapped the pylon. It wasn't a mystical gesture. It was the way an old man slaps a malfunctioning television remote. Whack.

“Penn, I need you.” “I need you too.” Penn said intensely. “I mean I need your power.” “Zelda...I can’t.” “I can’t do it by myself.” I replied. “Remember, you’re not an abomination?” Penn smiled slightly. “Right.” “We have to melt these bars.” I nodded at him. “How can Beta Penn help with that!” Hunter demanded. We didn’t answer him. We grabbed hands. Just like always, the sweltering heat filled my body when we touched. Something reminiscent to lava flowed from our hands, melting the bars.

She gave me a small nod of approval that I let her guide my head upward to meet her eyes. “You are one of the four Guardians of the Fifth Element.” She let my chin go and kept her eyes on me. “So you see, you couldn’t possibly be evil.” She gave me another one of her nods and a tight-lipped smile that touched her twinkling eyes. She stood up and had her hands extended towards me, a gesture to help me get up. But how could she touch me without getting burnt herself? Looking at my hands and back to her hand in front of me, hesitating to take it.

He aggressively takes my hand and puts it on his hand, then grabs my other hand and also places it with my other hand. 'Now! Or you will go a week without any food!' he threatens. I stare down at my hands, covered in his blood. I don't know how to do it. Not sure what to do, I entwine my fingers through his, making him flinch from the sparks. The room remains silent as I stare intently at our hands, my hair begins to rise, and my hands begin to glow as my eyes become a bright silver. The warmth I felt earlier flows through my body again.

“Manifest ten weapons.” My stomach dropped at his impossible condition. He shook his head at the face I was making. “They don’t have to be traditional weapons. I don’t care what they are as long as you can demonstrate how you would use each one as a weapon.” He offered me his hand. “Deal?” I took his hand, using the leverage to pull into a standing position. “I do this, and guy’s night is on?” Bennett inclined his head. “Deal.” Theodore’s POV

“I called you Mr Montgomery in front of Mrs Collins and she questioned me. I don’t think I can handle this any better” “Even if you kept your mouth shut, she would question you. You flinch every time I touch you” “It’s… I’m having a hard time wrapping myself up in all of this! I’m so not used to physical contact and all of this seems like a dream, I don’t know… I’m just scared I screw everything up” “We’ll have to change that, then” he stated at me briefly before gabbing my hand and pull me against his chest. I tried to avoid eye contact but his hand in my neck made me lift my head on instinct.

However, it was pointless to say anything now that things had reached this juncture. Raiden extended his right hand, and a hammer covered with electricity homed into his location from afar and landed right in his hand.

I turned. He was already moving toward me, unhurried, one hand raised. Between his fingers hung a pendant… a delicate silver chain suspending a small disc etched with markings I didn't recognize. "Give me your hand," he said. I glanced at Kieran. He gave a slight, reluctant nod.

I fell down, clutching my hand and screaming. “What happened?." Yoda asked reappearing, one glass wall opened and she entered. My hand was numb, that was not good, I couldn't feel my right hand. “Dear god, what have you done?." She lifted my hand and I permitted myself to look at it, it was bloody and swollen. A big box appeared from no where and she sprayed something that looked like hairspray over my hand and it was overwhelmingly cold. “You'll be fine." She said wrapping my hand in a bandage. “Here is a lollipop."

I was still astounded that I couldn't comprehend the coherent words leaving his mouth. "We need to get you out of here. Then we'll discuss how much trouble you're in," I muttered to him as I glared at the bindings trapping him in this hellhole. "Don't touch them. T-They're silver..." "I can go look for Vander, he has gloves for that very reason," I suggested, remembering he used them to break in. It was a risky move, but it would definitely be worth it if it meant getting him out of here. If only I could mind-link him.
