You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone

You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone

While Yara complained and tugged at her neckline, revealing the injury on her collarbone to Calista, she said, "Do you think he's insane? It might even be domestic violence in the future." Calista was stunned by what Yara revealed. She went quiet before saying, "You have quite the imagination. You're already thinking of that. Normally, people would be furious and thinking of getting back at him. Besides, shouldn't domestic abuse happen between families? For you and him, it's at most physical violence." Yara didn't know what to say. Before Calista could say something, Yara hung up the call. Calista couldn't help but laugh, and she didn't bother to call back.

CHARMSTIDJA
Dam*! this story captivates my adrenaline I'll have to force myself for an interval, how much more assaults Callie has to go through before she gets her happy ending. Lily in the name of wealth/fame is just another typical homewrecker hypocritical Bit*h! too many exist even in non-fictional world

i just started reading. i hope it is not as disappointing like other stories i read, exciting to read in the beginning because of the great character build up, but more chapters were added, the more the story become disappointing. The character came out of what they where built up. I hope not.

Scandalously Yours

Scandalously Yours

I leaned in and focused on her. "Perhaps, I was right," I said calmly, looking for attention. "About what?" She was curious. She just got hooked. "I once met a woman here. She just got divorced so she was drinking herself to stupor. Her husband was more like a beast but she was so madly in love with him that she mourned their separation..." I told her. "She was a victim of domestic abuse yet she still loved her abuser." "Women are so foolish!" She shouted. That felt like she was talking to herself.

Who's the One Regretting Now?

Who's the One Regretting Now?

Sorry, I got a little heated and cursed. "No worries," Macie replied. "Let's see if we can challenge them with what we already have." He said, "Domestic violence is our strongest defense. They spent the first trial trying to disprove infidelity, and now they're shifting the blame to Sharon in this next round. "To be honest, it's a tough road. I've handled other divorces, and courts usually only grant full separation on the grounds of domestic violence if there's serious injury or repeated abuse. Otherwise, they'll push for counseling and reconciliation.

Dear author, Please do not abandon this story; it is very interesting. Sharon needs to be captured and held accountable for her evil deeds just like Raymond. I do feel sorry for Edward knowing how repentant he is for his past ill treatment of Macie, but he has to bear the consequences.
Coonsfamily
So interesting! I hope Macie doesn’t end up with Edward, but with Sean. I think it subverts a lot of the BAD writing in a lot of stories like this— for example, his domestic abuse isn’t brushed aside, she calls the POLICE when his obsessive behavior escalates, etc. 9.5/10

Wrong Way Up

Wrong Way Up

There were a few landlords that helped domestic violence victims but in order to use them I would have to have a police report against Jax. I still was not sure that I wanted to get the law involved when it came to Jax. I had made the decision to move in with Jax on my own. No one would truly believe that he had sexual assaulted me because we were living togethers. I kept the logs and pictures just in case it got to that point. I had learned from the other women that it was difficult to get a full domestic violence case to stick. I knew that if that happened with Jax, he was the type of person that would be intent on destroying me after. I was not sure if I wanted that drama in my life.

There's a phrase, right in the initial chapters, where Noel says she is not old, but is too old to start again. That really got to me, because even now we are taught that. We need more diversity in our female characters, so thanks for writing this.
Alyssa Lyons
I absolutely love this book, It has so much depth and it's not all sunshine and roses which makes It that much more real. Hoping it will be finished soon! And if it's by any chance based on a true story, Noel is strong and amazing and worthy of love and happiness, hope she never believes otherwise!

Deceiving A Billionaire

She said. “He never changed. You just never saw him for what he was. The first thing you need to do is make sure you aren’t seen with him publicly as often. Then you need to make sure that when you are, you have a forced smile and you look detached. Then the last thing is impotant. You need to donate to victims of domestic abuse constantly.” “Why?”

The Divorce That Made Me Untouchable

The Divorce That Made Me Untouchable

“You won’t lose me. I’m here with you.” “Now. But later? Tomorrow?” Matthew let out a longer sigh. “I’d blame myself if anything happened to you after you went back there. After I heard you screaming on the phone, I thought I couldn’t let you go back there, whatever the reason. It could get worse than this.” Matthew stared at me intently. “Most victims of domestic violence are women. You need to know you’re not safe there.” “Honestly, I’m tired of telling you that Charles didn’t hurt me.”

I don’t want him back: Divorcing the Billionaire

I don’t want him back: Divorcing the Billionaire

"Three years ago, my name was Veronica Reeves. I was trapped in a marriage where love meant control and violence was disguised as protection." The room was silent. I told them about Jason without naming him. About the bruises hidden under long sleeves. About the fear that became so normal, I forgot what safety felt like. About running with a toddler to a shelter where strangers showed me more kindness than my husband ever had. "Domestic violence is not just a personal tragedy," I said, my voice growing stronger. "It is a systemic failure. We fail when we tell victims to just leave without providing resources. We fail when we treat it as a private matter instead of a public health crisis. We

Karma : I Married My Abusive Husband's Twin

Karma : I Married My Abusive Husband's Twin

From where I sat, I had a clear view of the projector screen. My fingers slowly tightened around my purse. Marcus already has everything covered, and I couldn't wait to see the look on her face. Magaret walked onto the stage, and the entire hall erupted in applause. She took the microphone and began to speak. “Domestic violence is not always loud. Sometimes, it is a slap. Sometimes, it is control, fear, and shame that nobody else can see. It happens in homes that look perfect on the outside, in marriages people envy, and in families that smile in public.

THE BLOOD STAINED ALPHA

THE BLOOD STAINED ALPHA

She explained and my eyes widened. It was a usual occurrence to find out that a man or woman had violated their mate. Domestic violence also occurred among our kind no matter how much our relationships seemed to be, even if they were made by the moon goddess herself. We were flawed just like mankind and violence was a huge part of us so it was not so unusual for violence to occur in a home. Sadly, most of the targets are usually women as we are seen to be weak and frail men take advantage and strike down at their mates. A disgusting act that would be hidden with threats.
