THE PERFECT HUSBAND

THE PERFECT HUSBAND

“That’s what they are pushing. I went in, she was alive. I left, and she’s found dead..” “That’s not enough. It is for a trained personnel but generally five minutes isn’t time for a clean kill, let alone through strangulation. They need more than just suspicion, and that’s where we make their job harder.” Adrian leaned forward. “How?” “We shift the timeline. For you to have done it, chances are that you must have come back. You need to be seen somewhere else right after you left the room. Somewhere close enough that it makes it impossible for you to have done anything beyond a brief argument in the room buy also somewhere that there is no way you could have come back to finish her off.”

Fated To The Werewolf Huntress

Bored surfing through the internet,I reside reading an online story written by my greatest and favourite author, Elvis Asiwe. He's stories generally are dope, they appear outstanding and unique, having great plots, outlines, intriguing characters and unexpected twists. Reading his stories frequently soots anxiety and worries, bestowing long lasting peace of mind within me and like earlier mentioned, him likewise his stories are both dope and the best. I thought. Deeply engrossed reading through his current ongoing intriguing and suspense filled novel,Alex devious sneaking in was taken unnoticed by me, not until loud screening screams evolved her lips, taking me aback in shock.

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

He had been busy arranging the publication process since the two of them met in Elgerson to discuss matters. First was the early promotion stage. After 12 years of silence, the mystery novelist, Mindy Harrison returned with a new suspense thriller following her hit novels, "Murder Weapon" and "The Deserted School". The selling point was there, but… the response wasn't great. Firstly, Mindy had been disconnected from the thriller novel industry for many years. While her reputation remained, her previous glory had faded after a new generation of writers cropped up. Most readers didn't care much for her anymore.

This is a good book. I enjoyed reading it. It’s been a week now with no new chapters. At least end the book with an ending instead of just left it hanging. It’s getting more interesting & I know the readers would like to continue reading it. You know the feeling without closure, no satisfaction.......

House of Horrors Part 1

House of Horrors Part 1

Each name sank deeper, sending waves of doubt and terror—waves that never ended. Susan and the blank sheet of paper— Night began to weigh heavily on the city, sweeping away a long, unsettling silence. The streets below her apartment seemed deserted, save for a few cars passing intermittently, as if fleeing some unknown fate. The building where journalist Suzanne lived wasn't much different from other modern buildings in Cairo, but this night held something unusual. Her heart pounded with questions, her head heavy with the tangle of crimes, faces, and names.

BEAUTY AND THE BODYGUARD: DANGEROUS DESIRE BOOK 2

BEAUTY AND THE BODYGUARD: DANGEROUS DESIRE BOOK 2

That would be emotional suicide. I moved away from the romance section quickly, like it might contaminate me somehow. Crime thriller. I'd read a crime thriller. Something with murder and investigations and absolutely zero sexual tension. That was safer. Much safer. I browsed the mystery section and pulled out a book I'd heard good things about. A detective novel set in London. Dark, gritty, complex. Perfect. I carried it to one of the comfortable chairs by the window and settled in. The chair was incredibly comfortable—soft leather that seemed to mold around me. There was a small side table with a reading lamp. A footstool I could put my feet up on.

Untamed

Untamed

He must have taken advantage of me while I was unconscious. I stood up, my movements stiff with fury and fear. My eyes roamed the room, noting the opulence—the golden wristwatches, diamond rings, and gleaming furniture. He’s filthy rich, but that doesn’t give him the right to do this to me. I couldn’t stay here another second. I needed to return to my pack, to check on my parents. But I had no money, and my situation was desperate. Without a second thought, I began gathering valuables from the room, his golden wristwatches, diamond rings, and even his wallet. My gaze landed on a silver necklace around his neck. It shimmered faintly, almost otherworldly, and I carefully removed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Selecting a gripping suspense thriller can be such a delightful challenge, especially with so many fantastic options out there! One book that consistently comes to mind is 'Gone Girl' by Gillian Flynn. From the very first page, it pulls you into a web of mystery that’s equal parts thrilling and psychologically intense. The dual perspectives between Nick and Amy keep the reader on their toes, questioning each character's motives and the truth behind their twisted relationship. It's like unpeeling an onion, layer by layer, and just when you think you’ve figured it out, Flynn throws in another jaw-dropping twist that completely changes the game.

Another personal favorite is 'The Girl on the Train' by Paula Hawkins. The way Hawkins crafts her narrative through the eyes of three distinct women is brilliantly executed. You can feel Rachel's despair and confusion as she becomes embroiled in a missing person's investigation, but the real fun lies in how unreliable the narrators are. I remember being totally hooked and unable to put it down, racing through pages just to discover who’s really telling the truth. The details unfold in such an intricate way that I found myself second-guessing everything, wondering if my assumptions were leading me astray.

Also worth mentioning is 'The Silent Patient' by Alex Michaelides, which has this chilling psychological twist that haunted me long after I finished it. It centers around Alicia, a woman who inexplicably shoots her husband and then stops speaking. The tension builds as you delve deeper into the reasons behind her silence, and the surprises that unfold in the latter half feel like a punch to the gut! The character development and plot mechanics are just masterful.

For anyone looking for a really immersive experience, I would say 'The Woman in the Window' by A.J. Finn is also a must-read. It plays on themes of agoraphobia and isolation while unraveling a neighborhood mystery. You really get sucked into the main character’s paranoia and worry, making it a thrilling page-turner. It’s definitely one of those books that keep you guessing right up until the very end.

Each of these books does an incredible job of building suspense and creating that nail-biting anticipation that makes thrillers so enjoyable. It’s like they take you on a wild ride, always keeping a tight grip on your curiosity while carefully revealing just enough to keep you yearning for more. Anyway, I’m excited to know what other readers think about their favorites! Happy reading!
