Beta Readers Meaning Novels & Stories

Hello my beautiful readers! For those of you that don't know, my books are considered ‘steamy’. This means that they will be filled with lots of detailed steamy scenes. Specifically, this book may have lots of sėx scenes, some bdšm, violence, kīdnapping, profane language, the whole nine yards, so if you don’t feel comfortable with that, please skip those chapters or the book altogether. This will be your only warning. For those of you that haven't read my books before, they are known to get wild and more times than not end in a cliffhanger. You've been warned!

Darren said to me. I knew he was really concerned about me, but he is also needed in the pack. "No, Darren, I got this. You should be home protecting our clan. That is why I am your Beta," I said to him. "Carsen, before you are my beta, you are my brother, and I always want you safe, even though you are very stubborn, and I feel like killing you at times," Darren said to me jokingly. We both laughed as happiness is free.

I’d answered. “I can see the look on your face, son. So, I know you already know where I’m going with this, but there’s a reason most of the players are plain old Betas. The world has grown to accept Alpha and omega designations, but that doesn’t mean there are no prejudices, son.” I had frowned at his and said, “I’m aware, dad.”

“Were you actually enjoying my story?” “Of course, you’re an amazing storyteller. That was absolutely riveting,” Carter said. “The Alphas, the other packs. Regular werewolves who do their bidding. What else? Why is Balfour called a Beta?” Eric settled back. “Well, regular wolves make up most of the pack. But Betas are the best of them. Balfour is the best, strongest and wisest Beta any pack has ever seen, honestly. He’s been with the Cross family for decades, since before the great war.” He said with admiration. “And then there’s omegas.”

she began and then I felt it. I am a beta. Me being a beta means that I am in between an alpha and a gamma or an omega depending with who my parent were. Betas don't go through heats like omegas or ruts like alphas. We only usually get aroused by our mates pheromones and we aren't affected by any other. Thus, except Mason and Alex, no one else could arouse me forcibly not unless I was willing to. There is only one way of making a beta go in heat like and omega and that's by inducing a temporary one.

At that, the wolf in front of her turned his glare to me, like I was the one who was in the wrong. "Do not speak of my mate in this way, human." He growled at me. Before I could open my mouth to call him a piece of shit for protecting this hearless bitch, Travis came out of nowhere and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground by at least a foot. "Talk to my mate like that again and I will rip your balls off with my bare hands." He hissed at him. I knew Travis was the Beta, which apparantly gave him more power than this wolf I had not yet met, so he immediately began to beg.

Not what you would expect for a Beta. I know a Beta is meant to be strong and dominating, much in the same way as an Alpha, but, they are also meant to be approachable and decent. Kind and caring. Friendly and hard-working. Much like my Dad. I was unsure if my brother held all those traits, but that was a different story. Hopefully he would improve as he got older, or that is what I kept telling myself, despite the fact he had already attended his Beta training. But, this Beta here seemed to lack most of these skills too, or that was my first opinion of him.

The man replied introducing himself but I just look at him with a confused face. "You're his beta? What do you mean by that?" I asked Tristan and I feel my heart skips a beat when I heard him say that he's a beta because the first thing that comes to my mind after hearing it is the werewolves, beta is a ranking in a werewolf pack, I've read too much werewolf stories that's why I know a lot about werewolves.
