The Sequel for The Bet is out now, it is called Riptide❤️‼️ As requested it's Brittany's story after Andre❤️‼️ Chapters are already posted❤️‼️ Hope you guys enjoy it❤️‼️ Riptide *Sneak Peak* "It's you" She announced softly "So I did do something?" I asked thinking back, trying to figure out what exactly. "You're doing everything right" She confessed leaving realization to stand in my mind.

At that, the wolf in front of her turned his glare to me, like I was the one who was in the wrong. "Do not speak of my mate in this way, human." He growled at me. Before I could open my mouth to call him a piece of shit for protecting this hearless bitch, Travis came out of nowhere and grabbed him by the throat, lifting him off the ground by at least a foot. "Talk to my mate like that again and I will rip your balls off with my bare hands." He hissed at him. I knew Travis was the Beta, which apparantly gave him more power than this wolf I had not yet met, so he immediately began to beg.

He explained it to me, why he was suddenly looking at me curiously. My brother and I shared a kind of bond where the older sibling was almost the same as the parent. He was my sub-parent. He raised me. “Well, of course! I have changed. What else do you expect. I am no longer the Alpha's daughter. I am the Beta woman now.” I replied calmly, smiling proudly when I announced my new designation to my brother. “Hmmm… are you happy with him? I remember you used to be so scared of him.” My brother asked in a low tone, making me smile slightly.

Brandon titters, as he tilts his head moving it from Cameron to Adrian. "Let me borrow your words, wrong move, the alpha should have known that you are no match for me, within a blink, I will strangle you and feed you to the bird of the sky, an alpha battling with beta and Gamma, what a shame? You know I have alpha blood running in my veins." Brandon's voice was filled with mockery, being the proud ruthless Alpha that he is, he would never bow to anyone.

"This is why I didn't want to tell you." "I don't want to fight either." I forced myself to stay calm, even though everything inside me was screaming. "I just thought you trusted me." He gave me a look I'd never seen before. Cold. Clinical. Like he was seeing me not as Ewan, but as a problem to be solved. A threat to be managed. "I'm a Beta," he said. "The safety of my Alpha comes first." The words were like ice water in my veins. "More than me?"

“I had another memory. A nightmare, to be more precise. I’m not sure anymore where the line is between remembering and dreaming.” I sat down beside him, close enough that our shoulders touched. “Tell me.” He took a shaky breath. “There was a man. I’ve been seeing flashes of him for days, but tonight it was clear. His name is Kieran. Dark hair, amber eyes, this playful smile that made everything feel less serious.” His voice softened with affection. “He was my beta. My best friend. My brother in every way that mattered.” “Your beta?” “It’s a pack thing. A beta is the alpha’s second, their right hand. The person who stands beside you when everyone else stands behind you.” Frost’s hands unclenc

I let out the breath I didn’t realize I was holding, “Wonderful! I know you will do nothing but right by everyone. But that will leave your current position unfilled and an alpha is nothing without his beta.” Bennet snorts. I narrow my eyes at him, while Knox growls. “The position of beta is one that should be held by someone who cares about the pack as much or even more so than the alpha. That person should be willing to do whatever it takes to protect and serve its members, regardless of consequences.” I pause, swallowing harshly. Here it goes, the only thing I can do to even begin to pay him back. “Anders, would you accept the title of beta and serve beside Christopher?”

Bitch, Aislinn smiled, oddly appropriate. Meredith tilted her head in a superior fashion so that she could look down on everyone even from her sitting position. "I'll ignore that seeing as you're probably ignorant of the way things work around here, this time. But for future reference little one, I'm a beta. That means that everyone less than that gets out of my way when I want. And you don't have any rank at all."

He bends slightly at the waist, but he doesn't seem to be in as much pain as he should be. I can admit that I don't know a lot about werewolves, but I'm very knowledgeable about their ranking system. Aston is a Beta, and Blake is an Alpha. That alone indicates that Blake is stronger than Aston. By the look of things, though, I'm not sure how true that actually is. Blake looks surprised as well. I guess he expected to put Aston on his ass, but clearly that isn't happening.
