Burning Through 99 Chances in a Year

Burning Through 99 Chances in a Year

Even as he lay in bed at the ICU ward, he gripped my hand tightly and said, "Even if you're not the Ludlow family heiress, Stella, I still won't regret the choice I made." That truly moved me beyond all else. Ignoring my family's protests, I stubbornly insisted on marrying Bryan. Given our wildly different social standings, I knew he'd have to endure certain remarks and attitudes from my family. Therefore, the day we got married, I gave him 99 free passes. "If you ever upset me, you can use one of the free passes to cancel it out. But once you've used up all 99 of them, this marriage ends." Upon hearing that, Bryan swiftly locked the free passes away in a drawer on the spot, swearing he woul

My Nine-Tailed Husband

My Nine-Tailed Husband

He was basically the ruler of this world. "What are you thinking about?" Kaelen kissed my hair, sounding a little annoyed that I'd spaced out. I couldn't hold back the excitement in my chest. "Dusty—I mean, Kaelen, what's going on here?" He gave me a little smile and pulled me into his arms. "Because I'm Kaelen, I've got nine lives. Dying once doesn't really matter. I just failed my last trial, that's all. But you can't abandon me now."

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

The whole space was accompanied by a long howl. "It's the Holy Wind Finger?" Looking at the awl-shaped mark in the void, many experts were shocked. "What's wrong? Is the Holy Wind Finger very powerful?" A disciple could not help but ask curiously. "Sikong Jiuzhi, it is said that he has unparalleled nine finger techniques, and each of them is peerless. However, among his nine finger techniques, the one called Green Edge Finger is the most famous. This finger technique once defeated the Black Shield King with one move..."

The Alpha's Rejected Luna: Mommy, Please Take Daddy Back

He glances up, face lighting up like the damn sun. "Daddy! Look!" He waves the book excitedly. "I figured out the math trick Grandpa showed me!" I force a smile and sit beside him. "Show me, champ." Harry grins, holding up both hands. "Okay, see? If you want to multiply by nine, you just bend the finger that matches the number. Like this-" He folds his third finger down. "Nine times three is twenty-seven! Two fingers on the left, seven on the right!"

The 99th Forgiveness

The 99th Forgiveness

The man hung his head low, his fingers buried deep in his hair, carefully considering where I might have gone. As his eyes wandered, they suddenly fell upon the trash can nearby. Those pink fragments looked so familiar that the moment he saw them, he felt like he couldn't breathe. He slowly crouched down, not caring that the cream stains would dirty his sleeves. He picked up the pieces from the trash can bit by bit. Then, he carefully assembled them back together. There were exactly 99 reconciliation vouchers. He remembered five years ago, when he had looked at those vouchers and sincerely promised me, "Cecilia, don't worry. I'll never give you a reason to use them."

The Ninth Cipher

The Ninth Cipher

She stood alone in a ruined city beneath a crimson sky. Blood covered her hands. Around her... The Nine Doors burned. She whispered only one sentence. "I'm sorry..." Then she disappeared. Another mirror. Edward. Standing before an enormous throne. Holding the Ninth Cipher. Smiling. Not like himself. Like someone else entirely. Another mirror. Lucien. Fighting hundreds of shadow figures until he finally dropped his sword... ...and willingly knelt before the darkness. Mirror after mirror revealed impossible futures. Some hopeful. Most horrifying. Finally Adrian looked at the stranger.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

“God, I look like shit.” “I don’t notice any difference.” Brian held up the three centermost fingers of his right hand. “Read between the lines, asshole.” Eric looked more puzzled than usual. “I never learned to read.” “Here, let me help you.” Brian bent his ring finger and index finger down, leaving his middle finger extended. “Do you know sign language?”

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.
