She had no more clue than he did. Then she raised her head, and he heard the faint words “, the lord is my shepherd, he maketh me to lie down in green pastures, he leadeth me beside the still waters.“ Not noticing his presence, she moved from the man she had been bent over to another, her Bible opened and her lips moving. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. He heard her say to that next man, her voice sure and firm.“ The sound of her voice did something to him that he did not expect. The panic in him dissolved, and he felt peace and calm come over him. Walking towards a chair, he sat down and watched her move around, reading the scriptures to the men sleeping and aw

“God is now your father. I am Pastor Ndubuisi. Take this and go through it. You will see the schedule for all our services. Go in peace. Also, don’t forget to buy a copy of the king James version as you go.” I took it from him with my heart swelling with happiness. “Thank you, sir. We shall meet again.”

Jennifer replied "Okay, then you should try that and reading the bible for once. Because that also helps getting rid of anger, too" "You know that it's been awhile since I've read the bible. I wouldn't know what scriptures to read on" "Well, there's Ephesians chapter four verse thirty one and two. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you"

I decided to take a seat as I read through the first topic. "Let not your heart be troubled," I read the first line aloud, it was apparently a verse from the bible. Strangely enough I felt a sense of peace and was urged to read on. I read through the page and I don't know how but I found myself weeping. I picked up my phone and downloaded the bible app. I hadn't opened this in so long, I couldn't even remember the last time I went to church, except for a wedding. Crazy huh? "Babe?" I heard Damien's voice from the bedroom and quickly wiped my eyes clean of any trace of tears.

he replied, making me laugh. I spent a couple of hours trying different apps until I found one that offered the customization options I was looking for. It was meant for people with speech problems and allowed me to add the more frequently used words in bars around the main screen, to save time. When a sentence was complete, tapping the speaker icon made a TTS voice read it aloud. The best feat was that it would generate a bar with the most used nouns by the user, to keep them at hand.

While Amelia sat concentrating on what she was shockingly reading, I started talking with my Dad using mindlink. “Wow son, do you think that maybe my eyes are deceiving me? As the Alpha Slayer, the most dangerous vampire we have heard about is here looking so innocent and actually reading a human BIBLE?” My father said to me as he scrutinized Amelia who was sitting there reading a little black book bible which she had taken out of her bag and she seemed to not be getting some of it as a cute confused frown graced her face.

Aaron muttered, his voice tight as he referred to his right-hand man, and if Rue had something to say that made Aaron look like this, it couldn't be good. I felt my stomach churn. "What is it?" "It’s Salem," Aaron said, swallowing hard. "He’s here." Salem. My jaw tightened at the mere mention of his name. "And what does he want?" I snapped, feeling the familiar rise of anger burn through me. "He brought Baila."

One wrong reply and this would move from a casual text into something… something bigger. I exhaled shakily, and responded; Alright, this is my W******p number. Almost instantly, a green notification popped up and the first message landed within seconds. Bad Boy: Finally. Thought you’d say no. I chewed my lip, my fingers were stiff as I typed. Gloria: I only agreed because this way, it’ll be easier to share scriptures with you. Maybe even voice notes. His reply came too fast. Bad Boy: Scriptures, huh? Sure. I’ll take your scriptures. But only if you send them with that voice of yours. Bet it’s sweeter than your hymns.

How could she have the guts to eat when Gideon was not eating? She gritted her teeth and put the food package on the container, putting it on the dashboard. Gideon saw what she did and his brow raised, "You are not eating anymore?" Jewel shook her head. "I'll eat later." Sighing, she looked around the dashboard. "Did you bring a Bible? I want to read." Gideon glanced at her for a moment. "In the glove compartment," he said and looked at the road ahead again. She opened the small hinged door on the dashboard and she saw a pocketbook size New Testament. Jewel looked at her husband for a moment before taking the small book and opening it up, reading from the book of Matthew.
