But… you touch Naomi again without telling me, and you’ll regret it.” Ruth bowed slightly, fear, respect, and a hint of pride in her tone. “Yes… I understand. I won’t fail. I’ll do what’s necessary.” Death’s voice cut softly from the corner. “Good. That is all I ask. Follow the path, Ruth. Loyalty and courage must outweigh pride and impulse.” Ruth clenched her fists, fire and determination returning. “I understand,” she said firmly. “I’ll face whatever comes… head-on.”

Becoming an apostle of a god is a heavy responsibility. “Don’t do it, Ruth...” I say, panting. “Oh, shut it,” the newcomer god says. “A god coming down on his own is not an everyday occurrence, don’t you think? Because of nervousness, her palms turned sweaty. "I…it….it…." Her tongue wasn't helping her in speaking. She felt like thorns were pierced in her throat. She wasn't looking like the confident girl she was a while earlier. She can listen to the slight giggling sound of girls around her. The words of Zaviyaar erupted fire inside of her. How can she endure to face her insult that's why, stomping her foot and taking her books, she went out.
