The Shifter King

The Shifter King

I walk over, scanning the spines in awe. He's got history books, war strategies, records, and more. There must be books here dating back generations. Some of the spines look older, their leather worn from where the Beta must be studying them. Color me impressed, Theo. I move toward his desk, glancing at the notes laying across his desk. There are some documenting taxes and others that list the businesses in town. I smile to myself. Ambrose had mentioned being awful at math. This must've been who he pushed all the math onto. Theo has an impressive organization of the kingdom's accounting.

Shift

“If there was one I knew you could ace, it’s this one.” Smiling, I nodded and slipped back into work mode. Math was easy. It made sense, you just needed to know the formulas for it. The simplicity was only marred by larger numbers or fractions. All of it could easily be worked out if I just took the time to do it. I went through five scratch papers as I worked through the notebook, basically double checking my work. At some point, Caleb had come back but he still didn’t look too happy about whatever crawled up his ass.

10 out of 10! This book had me hooked from start to finish and has me wanting more! Not saying that you have to but this would make a great series, a book for each main character, I'd read them all! Glad to hear you're feeling better, keep taking care of yourself and writing these awesome stories! ...

So far, so good. I like the author's writing style and ability to have both strong and weak female & male characters. There are some grammar and spelling errors, but minor and easy to overlook. Better communication regarding updates would be appreciated, but this platform is not for career money.

Torn Between My Alpha Stepbrothers

Torn Between My Alpha Stepbrothers

I continued, “am I correct in assuming that this is the same notebook you’ve been using since you were twelve?” “Probably before then honestly,” he admitted. No wonder it was falling apart. This was worse than I thought. “How do you get good grades in your other classes?” I asked. “Most of them are math,” he said. “Math isn’t hard. It’s just numbers.” “That doesn’t – okay, you know what? Fine. Let’s start from scratch.” I reached into my backpack and pulled out a composition book. I’d been planning on using this one when I finished my current biochemistry notebook, but I could just buy a new one in a couple days.

HIS LITTLE PET

HIS LITTLE PET

"Right, straight to business. I like it." Nathan didn't answer. He reached into his backpack, pulled out a thick textbook, and slammed it onto the table between us. "Open to page 142," Nathan commanded, sliding a packet of printed worksheets toward me. "We’re going over probability distributions. Since you skipped the last three lectures, we have to cover two weeks of material in thirty-eight minutes."

Too Big to Fit.

Too Big to Fit.

“This gives…carbon dioxide and water.” He scribbled slowly, and I watched every step he took, every number he put down. Then he turned the book towards me. “Done.” Slowly, I pulled the notebook closer, my heartbeat picking up slightly. Because God knows I wanted to be done already. I checked through what he did. And double checked. I blinked. “You got it.” He slammed the pen noisily against the book and leaned back, folding his arms. “Told you I’m not dumb.”

This book was refreshing . It is emotional and revealed the depth of tje author's intuition. The play of characters is subtle, not the usual millionaires or bad boy book. It kept me reading day and night.... now all we need is the end not a drawn out soap. It will keep you on the edge.

Say I Hate You

Say I Hate You

"Ugh why do we have to fucking learn that shit? It's not like in the job interview they'll ask us 'hey. What's the value of X in this problem?'" Daniella groaned. She bumped her head in the table again and again. I chuckled and shook my head. "I honestly don't know but we have no choice" I say. She looked up at me and frowned. "Ugh I hate that. Don't let me see those numbers again" She groans pushing my Math notebook away from her.

Alpha's Bite: From Victim to Vengeance

Alpha's Bite: From Victim to Vengeance

Zach sighed, grabbed his books, but then handed me one of his notebooks before walking away. "Just learn these," he said. Then he turned and left me sitting there, stunned. I picked up the notebook and opened it. Oh... wow. It was Zach's math notes. His handwriting was so neat—it looked like a girl's—that I suddenly felt super insecure. I flipped through the pages, my heart pounding. This was weird. It was just a notebook... but somehow, it felt special. I gathered my things, hugged Zach's notebook to my chest, and then rushed out of the library, searching the halls for him.

The Ghosts of Greenville

The Ghosts of Greenville

She murmured, he sighed and calmly said. "Then you leave me no choice." He took another note book and filled open to middle page, he grabbed her pen and started writing down some equations, once he was done he turned the note to her direction and said, "here, this is an example..." She couldn't believe her eyes, she took the note from him with her mouth opened. He gradually broke the equations and solved it carefully, Autumn couldn't believe her eyes, Aidan clearly understood the maths and his formula was a bit higher than her teachers but still she understood it. "And that concludes the formula." She sat silently staring at her book, once he noticed her gaze he quickly snapped his fingers i

Heart over Mind

“This book you bought is a compilation of all the advanced mathematical paradigms over the years. Some of these are so advanced that even your teachers may have trouble with them.” She scratched at her brows. “Hey, Mr. Burt, it’s getting late…” “Why is this one left blank?” Karl pointed at one of the questions she had skipped.

DUBAI THE CITY OF DREAMS

DUBAI THE CITY OF DREAMS

It was always hard for her to focus on a topic that didn't much interest her, but on a day like today, when the weather outside was finally sunny and warm and Kyra just wanted to go see AJ, it was even harder. Kyra glanced up at the whiteboard and quickly copied down a few graphs into her notebook. She was going to have to reread the textbook chapter for today's class afterward because she had no idea why she was copying down something about flat and fat tails. It reminded her of beavers more than statistics.
