I had to get out there.
I raced across the massive room to a set of doors. I pulled on them with everything I had, but they wouldn’t open, wouldn’t budge an inch. I yanked harder. Straining every muscle I had. Still nothing. Frustrated, I made my way across the room to another set of doors; just like the first, they wouldn’t budge. I was frustrated. Jarren needed me, and I couldn’t get to him.
Making my way back to the massive window, I looked out to see blood covering most of the ground, but it wasn’t just anyone’s blood. It was Jarren’s. He was severely beaten and mangled. Garret seemed to be unscathed.
