“I know you’ve never forgiven me for what I did, but what happened with the others that’s made you so anti-men?” “I’m not anti-men,” she protests. “I happen to like them very much. And I have forgiven you. It’s purely a self-defense mechanism.” She looks at her glass and turns it in her fingers. “Do you know what a non-healing fracture is?” “No.” “It’s when the pieces of a broken bone don’t grow back together. Bones usually start rebuilding after they’ve been set. But sometimes bones don’t produce new tissue, leaving an aching pain and weakness.” She presses her hand to her chest. “That’s my heart, Hux. It’s been broken so many times that it has a non-healing fracture.”

What about you? "Just as unlucky as yours." I smiled at her. I didn't realise it until today... The world is too ironic. It takes sadness to know what happiness feels like. I realised that I wasn't the only one who'd had their world go upside down. There were others like her who stayed strong rather than trying to end their lives. There was one thing true about what my Dad told me once, "Life is like a piano. The white keys show happiness and the black keys show sadness, but as you venture on in life, remember that the black keys also make music."

He starts sobbing almost immediately, and her heart breaks for him. “Oh, Sweetie. That’s it let it all out. I’m here. I love you. I can take your sadness, as much as your anger. I will bear it all to have you. Do you hear me.” He nods, still sobbing and clinging to her. “I have had people angry at me for most of my life for one reason or another, and most of them would have killed me if I couldn’t handle it. I am not easily broken. Hurt, yes. Damaged, yes. But broken? Only one man ever broke me, and that was by dying in front of me.”

The place was near the woods so it was almost an isolated place. “Give me a chance to mend your broken heart.You know why hearts broke so that someone can mend it. If I'm not a bad person then give me a chance to mend your heart. I like you, and trust me I won't break your heart. If I ever do then you can kill me with your bare hands.”

Weighted. Sure thing, there was no easy way to break somebody’s heart…

"I just hope it hits hard enough to shatter you into pieces," Instead of anger, her face broke into a sweet, almost innocent smile, the contrast jarring. Then, her eyes locked onto Archie's, her voice taking on a softer, almost wistful tone. "Take care, ex. All the best. You'll know the truth one day, and maybe by then, it'll be too late; your heart will already be in pieces."

Not like this. But to look at her now, unconscious, fragile, hardly breathing, something in me broke. I scooped her up into my arms, cradling her against me. She was so light. Too light. I swallowed. Damn it, Adeline. I had closed her out to break her. But maybe… just maybe… I'm the one who's broken instead. I tightened my arms around Adeline's limp body, my heart racing in my chest. "Stop teasing me," I muttered, rocking her gently. "Just wake up."

And for a moment, I almost believed him. But no. I couldn’t. I couldn’t give in like this. I’d rather die than believe another man. I tugged my arm free, this time with enough force to break his grip. I glanced at him, the walls inside me were already crumbling. And for the first time, I felt... something. Something I can’t ignore. “Hell, No,” I whisper, shaking my head. “I’m not some charity case.” “Doesn’t matter.” Nathan’s voice hardens. “You’re not leaving.”

--- I remembered when I sing that song, I was totally broken. I felt so...numb, empty, shallow. And I wish my heart would be unbroken by now. Cause I am still BROKEN inside. Not in a romantic relationship, but I'm broken. Broken because of what people are doing with me. I said in that song, that they would never let me down cause I'm titanium. And I did that. Everyone who tried to messed up with me didn't succeed.

"Thank you..." When heart is broken it fallen into pieces. You feel so cold, so hopeless, and so down. You felt like you lost your happiness. It's like a fire that will burn you into ashes. The only thing you can see is darkness and emptiness. But when the pieces put back together, it forms a strong bond. It lightens up the whole world around you, and each other will feel a different kind of joy. A different kind of fire that will warm your cold and empty heart. And one kissed of love, the heart becomes whole. "You fix me my love." I whispered. He smiled and kissed me again. The End.
