Vampire Hunting was illegal, and the last thing Jo wanted was to end up in jail--again. Her weapon of choice was a modified Glock. It had a built in silencer, and the barrel was elongated so that the velocity of the silver bullets she fired would penetrate Vampire bone and flesh deeper and quicker than anything on the market. These bullets were different, too. Since silver bullets had been outlawed in ’42, just two years after the first Vampire was elected president, she’d relied on a secret black market of former LIGHTS members to get her what she needed. Sometimes the bullets worked; sometimes she had to pull her knife and end things the messy way.

Nothing could go wrong—or so he thought. He walked past the living room, seeing Mara arranging flowers and some guards walking silently in the hallways. Everything looked perfect. Quiet. Safe. Normal. --- Meanwhile, Black Bullet had started moving. He drove quietly through the city streets in a black SUV. His face was hidden under a hood, his eyes scanning everything around him. He approached the neighborhood carefully, making sure no one noticed him. He parked a few blocks away from the mansion. From there, he could watch the security cameras, the guards’ movements, and the mansion itself. Everything was calm, exactly how he liked it.

Lunus cocked her gun and fired. The sparks of the flint burned bright like flames against the night's eternal darkness, and the smoke of the barrel ascended into the air, mixing itself with Malkouth's mist. Light hit the ominous scene as the silver bullet gleamed, catching the white of the moon and the orange of the sparks.

An actual, metallic, deadly-looking gun. "Um," I say carefully. "You do know that's not a regular car accessory, right?" Bellamy glances over, then he picks it up. "This?" Before I can answer, he clicks something. There's a metallic sound, and my heart literally stops— click... A tiny flame bursts from the barrel. Cora screams. I nearly die. Eve doesn't even blink. Three black SUVs pulled up at the clearing, their engines rumbling in the quiet forest. He turned on the brightest solar-powered flashlight attached to the gun. There wasn't a vampire in the small lobby, but there as well wasn't a need to play hide-and-seek because he sensed them all. He even sensed two of them scrambling quietly on the wall behind him. Soon as they leaped at him, he pivoted around. The light on the gun blinded their eyes and burned their skins, making them shy away, before he pulled the trigger and they burst like balloons. The bullets weren't ordinary, they were made to burst a vampire once inside their body.

That much I knew to be true. I turned off the lights before pulling down the street. Morning was right around the corner, the soft glows of light over the horizon indicating another glorious day. It was, after all, a good day to die. I'd taken a few minutes to change into black jeans and a matching polo, an ankle holster holding my Beretta, and a loaded Glock in my hand as I walked close to the house. Even though the ratty blinds were closed, I could tell there was a light on, and some type of noise from either a television or a music system of some kind.

It is classified as a mystical weapon, and the bullets used are not ordinary silver bullets. Bullets made of precious metal, from pieces of shooting stars in Norway. To get this rare bullet, Damien had to spend around five thousand US dollars for one bullet. All of them including Reinhardt had gone to their positions. Now only Daniel and Alexis are still on top of the old building. Alexis turned his head, "Why don't you just let me finish him off? You know that I can do it yourself."

Leo yelled, stepping forward. Blackwood pulled out a small, snub-nosed steel revolver. The dull grey metal gleamed under the harsh fluorescent tube lights overhead. His hands shook violently as he raised the barrel, pointing the sight straight at the center of my chest. Jax lunged forward, but Blackwood snapped the barrel toward Jax’s face. “Stay back, Miller! One more step and I put a bullet in his ribs!” Jax stopped, his boots skidding on the concrete, his face going pale as he held his arms out to shield Leo behind his broad frame.
