The book Sebastian was reading suddenly goes flying as Grayson grabs him from the sofa chair and falls back against the couch, wrapping him tightly in his arms. Sebastian laughs as Grayson buries his face in his neck, and his light stubble tickles his sensitive skin.

“Then you must hate how little you own me.” The air shifted. Something dangerous flickered in his eyes. He leaned closer, his voice dropping. “You don’t get to say things like that unless you’re prepared for consequences.” Her pulse kicked. “I’ve always been prepared.” Before he could reply, another presence slid into the space beside her, warm and careless. “Easy, brother. It’s Christmas.” Sebastian Blackwood. Younger by four years. Vice chairman. The charm to Julian’s steel. Where Julian cut, Sebastian burned.

I caught sight of myself in the mirror—wild eyes, blood-smeared cheek, hair like silver ash tangled with rage. My wolf stirred beneath my skin, restless and ravenous. Blackwood's voice grows colder, his words dripping with menace, "Now, if you be a good boy and tell me where the three of them are—" Sebastian, trembling and desperate for mercy, stammers a response, his voice trembling with fear, "I don't know, but Mrs. Nashville is with us—" Blackwood, a mixture of disappointment and urgency etched on his face, releases his grip on Sebastian, allowing him to stumble backward. As Sebastian gasps for breath, his eyes wide with terror, he instinctively reaches up to touch his bleeding neck, his fingers stained crimson. The sight of his own blood sends him into a state of panic

she asked, her voice cool and professional. Sebastian turned. There was no smile, no arrogance. His face was tense, and something dark and turbulent churned in his eyes. He wasted no time on pleasantries. “You received an invitation,” he said. It wasn’t a question, it was a flat statement of fact. “I receive many invitations, Mr. Blackwood. You’ll have to be more specific,” Liliana replied calmly, walking to one of the black leather chairs before his desk and remaining standing, refusing to take a subordinate position.

Atticus asks. “Birthday boy?” Sebastian’s deep, sexy voice comes. Atticus moves back, and we both turn to Sebastian who is standing there all in black, looking drop-dead gorgeous, the sleeves of his black shirt are pushed up, and he has a few buttons open that show off two chains. His gaze snaps to me and he makes no attempt to hide the way his eyes rake over me. It feels like he’s undressing me with them, and I suddenly feel extremely exposed under that burning gaze…

Sebastian. Tall, imposing, and dressed in a black suit that clung to his sculpted frame like it had been stitched onto him by the devil himself. The sight of him was enough to make the world still. His stormy grey eyes, darkened by something more than just anger, locked onto Lucas’s hand wrapped around my wrist. No words left his mouth—but he didn’t need to speak. His silence was louder than a thunderstorm. It screamed danger. It screamed mine. The fury rolling off him was so intense, I could practically feel the heat radiating from his body. My pulse quickened, my chest rising and falling faster than it should have. Something primal flared behind those eyes. Rage, yes—but something deeper.

By saying this, he freed her arm with a jerk. She was looking at him with teary eyes and a beating heart. Her lips were trembling. Suddenly, a voice drew the attention of both of them. Maybe there was an animal that fell down from the tree. Sebastian got up from his place and walked towards the plants, and Evelyn unwillingly stood at some distance from him. She wanted to know the reason for this sound. When she saw her arm, Sebastian's fingers had left their mark on her arm and her skin was burning badly.

He can be hotheaded sometimes, sure, but he’s not a bad guy. He’s sweet too, in his own way.” I nodded in agreement. She was right. Sebastian might be moody, but deep down, he’s a genuinely kind and loving man. “I’ll go ahead and set the table, Manang,” I offered.
