Blair's POV I lazily opened the door and Clover jumped off the couch, “You weren't answering your phone, where were you?” Clover showed me her phone and I saw hundreds of missed calls. “I accidentally dropped my phone,” I closed the door behind me and entered the house. “Thank goodness, I thought you had done the unthinkable,” Clover placed her hand on her chest and let out a deep breath, “What are all these?” She took the bag from my hand to check the content, “You didn't take your card.”

Lumi’s POV I look away first, not minding that he’s still staring at me to say something. Clover exhales dramatically. “Oh, this is not how I planned to die.” “We’re not dying,” I mutter, not sure of what I was saying. “Relax.” “You say that now, but it’s been ten minutes—” ….. A few minutes pass. Clover leans toward me, her voice low enough that it doesn’t carry. “This is what you wanted huh.”

“Yes, you can.” He pulled her up, and then he pulled her close as the music went on. A slower song from the eighties that he would struggle with to remember as they all seemed to sound the same, but this would be something to him and hopefully her. He brought her closer to him and held her in the darkness of the surrounding night swaying to the song. When it was over, he looked down at her face as her eyes were closed, and she looked at peace for a moment.
