I turn to the black forest green door, the same one that refused to open days ago. “Come in!” Ace commands, voice deep. I swallow hard. Pushing the door further open, I step in with my legs trembling. The door slams shut behind me. The room is lit with a deep red glow. The air is hauntingly warm. I hug myself, looking around.
