Right before their eyes the blue veins coating her body began their descent back. The once large girl was now a very well-toned one instead. Her pale skin was flawless; her new body shape perfection. The bald head she had started changing as well. Slowly but gracefully hair as black as the night sky sprouted from her scalp flowing around her beautifully all the way to her chest. Her skin creamy, lips blood red, perfectly curled long dark lashes overall turning her into the most stunning looking vampire he had ever seen. By the shock and lust filled faces of his men he could tell they were thinking the same of her.

I whispered nothing as low as I could and the fisherman bent to me, to hear what I was saying and I grabbed his neck with the last strength in me and dug my canine into the veins of his neck to drink till I was satisfied. I was finally able to get up from the cold cold ground, my bones felt like I was moving slowly. It is not possible that Noah Lombardo and ordinary Thylacine would defeat me. Cheated. I don't feel good, I do not feel powerful. Perhaps He laced his claws with the same thing he used to defeat the other hybrid. What a smart move! "But I saw you kill a vampire by simply biting it! Can't you just do the same here? Bite them all?" "That vampire wasn't a pureblood. He recently turned, and therefore easier to kill. These vampires are older, maybe purebloods, and it's an entire flock of them. Even if I called for my pack members, they wouldn't make it here on time,"

I ran and called for help. Suddenly a sharp pain hit me in the back, sending my entire body flying. It fell heavily to the ground again. My whole body felt like a broken bone, and the pain was so bad that I couldn't stand up. Turning my head, I saw the vampire. He is a blood bat. When he saw my horrified look, he stuck out his tongue and licked the blood from his paws. "There is no mistake, it is you, and your power will put our race at the top of the heap."

No one present—not the three bewildered thugs, nor the whimpering leader, Blade—had clearly seen the move. Skylar Vance’s hand, small and delicate, looked utterly frail, yet it had crushed the muscle and bone of Blade’s thick forearm with casual ease. The sound of splintering bone was relentless, a horrifying, staccato crack-crack-crack that merged sickeningly with Blade’s uncontrollable, animalistic shrieks. Under the weak, sputtering light bulb, the scene was an absolute nightmare.

Lauxister pointed, only three Elite Guards remained fighting the six unharmed mortals while five blue-armored guys tried holding them back. One of the blue-armored guys managed to slice a spear to one of the mortal’s neck and just like how vampires die, he’s reduced to ashes. “Their neck,” he yelled. “Their neck is their weak spot.” In an instant, the table had turned. One by one, the mortals were dying. The vampires weren’t able to harm them earlier, because their skins were as thick as gold. When at last, one blue-armored guy and Elite Guard plunged a spear to the mortal’s neck, he died with one last scream.

The one thing I hated about other vampires was the fact that they could block your attempts to read their minds easily. I walked over to one of the walls and pulled one of the books down. The entire room was set up to look like a small library. The shelf slid to the side, and another one was revealed. I picked up the silver blade. It was one of few weapons that could wound a vampire. We weren’t able to heal instantly, and there was some pain, but it wasn’t a significant weakness. “Now, who are you?” He didn’t answer. He simply glowered at me. I shook my head. The young ones were always so stupid. I made quick work of slashing him one time across the chest. He let out a slight cry of pain.

Now, his face was contorted into a monstrous form as he bared his fangs and claws. Another flash of lightening hit what remained of the roof and tore it away. The vampire quickly dodged more falling debris. “The outside world, vampire” Mrs. Belfry screamed over the carnage. “I’ll cripple you with your greatest fear.” A lightning bolt slammed down through the new opening in the roof and hit Claymore directly. Miraculously, he held out one hand and redirected the attack back toward Mrs. Belfry. The witch had to move fast to avoid being hit with her own powerful assault.
