Blank Slate

“Okay let me rephrase the question, why did you just kidnap me?!” I ask unaware if he wasn’t quite keeping up with what was happening! “I wouldn’t call it kidnap; I was simply taking what is mine.” He replies with a dangerous look in his eye, I take a step backwards from shock and also, quite a bit of fear for a second. “I’m not sure what you think is going on here, but I can assure you that I’m not yours.” I tell him point blank, I don’t know what day and age he thinks we’re living in but nowadays, you can’t just go around and claim someone is yours. “I can assure you, every inch of you belongs to me, your whole being is mine.” He says in a growl like tone, his eyes seeming to go a shade darker as he spoke. ~~ Liv and her friends plan a weeks gateway in a hidden cabin in the woods, all of them needing a break from the year they had endured. But none of them would have guessed the real outcome of the trip. The day soon rolls around for them all to head home, but that wasn’t where Liv would end up. She takes one last walk around the property when she’s grabbed from behind and taken deep into the woods. She’s sucked into a world of mates, wolves, and terrifying vampires. Stories of an unknown Luna who was to save the werewolf kind as a whole were told to Liv on numerous occasions. But maybe those stories were not just fairytales. Can she learn to accept her mate and fight for her new life? Who will she succumb to the dangerous creatures that lurk outside the borders?

I stood between both of them masking my son from his gorgeous daddy but my stubborn son cocked his head and gave his dad a very beautiful sunburnt smile. I couldn't help but chuckle my baby is too cute. "Mommy, is this Daddy?" Oh my God! I looked behind us at Jale who was only a few steps away from us. I bet he clearly heard what my son had just asked me. The was he was looking at me with curiousty, I knew he wanted an answer to that question too. Who am I even kidding from his viking gold hair, brown chocolate eyes, his fair skin, to proud attitude. Everything he was was the same thing my boy was. Chase was a true young version of his daddy but I would never let him know that. I crouched down in front of my angel and kissed his forehead before answering his question. My eyes shot up at Jale again who pretended like he was looking at something on his phone yet his phone's screen was blank then. After making sure he had his attention to us, I cupped my baby's cheeks and made him look into my eyes. "No honey, this man is not your daddy but uncle. He is uncle Jale." I could see Jale's face fall from the sides of my face. Suck a jerk! What did he expect that I was going to say Chase is his son. That is something I would never do in my life. I would never let Jale into my son's life. I will never let him know he is my baby's daddy because he doesn't deserve my little boy at all. He doesn't deserve us after all the horrible things he did to me five years ago.

He went blank in an instance. Seeing her walk towards his table makes him gone crazy. He wants to deny it but, he misses her. The exact same feeling he has for her six years ago. All kinds of emotions were crawling inside him, hatred, longing and fear, all mixed in one. She’s still the same exact person I used to know, the person I used to love. “Please be seated” she said, as she helps herself to sit. “… it’s been a while, how have you been A-chi?” she asks casually. “ Well as you can see, I’m all good until you come back… Tell me, kaya ka ba bumalik kasi wala ka na namang choice.” I can’t suppress sarcasm. “I may be that special to you, but I suggest you forget about the past, that would be better.” she said, as she sips from her glass. “Tell me, how am I suppose to forget when it was actually part of the reason why we were here, right now. Wow! I didn’t know you have the guts.” I said mockingly. “It was just a formality…” “O’o para sayo, kasi hindi ka nasaktan, hindi ka naiwan, hindi ikaw ang naka-miss limang taon sa buhay ng anak mo! And just so you know, I already have a fiancé.” I said in anger. “Do you love her?” I ask seriously. “Were you asking me that, because you were still confident na may feelings parin ako sayo?” I ask, because I found her unbelievable. “ If you were confident about yourself, you will give me an answer not a question. The fact that you ask me that, means you were shaken.” She said with a straight eye. “ You were still heartless!” I can not help to comment.
