Shady Blue
Blue ignored the fact the man who begged her to indulge him in dinner was playing the martyr.
“I had to have dinner with Richard,”
“Did he even leave after breakfast?”
“He works for you, aren’t you supposed to keep track of that?”
“Exterminators work with pests, last I checked I wasn’t one,” Vincent smiled slightly. Lit by only the dull streetlights, face gaunt beneath its darkness, Blue felt she was looking at the warped shadow of a sock puppet; looming and domineering, small in itself but so terrifying as it stared back at her in the darkness. Hated that the crueler the man looked, the more she wanted that very face between her legs. “Are you still up for dinner?”
