Her skin prickled with sweat. She scrambled to the mirror, tugging her collar down and froze. A faint bruise marred her neck, right where his teeth had been in the dream. Her breath shuddered out of her lungs. It wasn’t just a dream. It was something far more dangerous.

It was no longer the stranger, not the faceless shadow pressing me into sheets and tearing me open with a hunger that left me shaking with intense orgasm. No. This time, the dream hadn’t been about feeling this toe curling sensation that has me waking up sweaty, panting and all wet. It had been worse. Way worse. Not only mentally, in a breakdown that she had demonstrated, but physically as well.

Victoria helped me stand, supporting me as I rinsed my mouth at the sink. My reflection looked terrible…I was pale and sweating, my eyes looked too wide.
