She touched her throat and could swear it felt as real as the mouth in her dreams had. Letting out a slow breath, she smiled and moved back onto her pillow. So it was only a dream. Did it really matter? It’s not like she was with one man and dreaming of another. Nope, no man had been in her bed in a long time. He could have stayed a bit longer, though, she thought with a smirk. “Happy dreams for me,” she whispered and closed her eyes again. ~

If anything, it grew sharper. My heart thumped painfully against my ribs, hard and frantic, like it wanted to break free. Sweat clung to my forehead, dripping along the side of my face as I struggled to suck in a shaky breath. The dream flashed behind my eyes again. That sky. That moon… glowing like a bleeding wound in the heavens. I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to calm my racing mind. A Blood Moon… Why would I see that? Why now? Another breath trembled out of me.

Gasping for breath, I tried to sit up, but my eyes were drawn upward. Blood. A torrent of blood poured from above, cascading down like rain, drenching me in its warmth. My scream caught in my throat as the blood got into my mouth, warm and thick. I jolted awake, choking and gagging, my hands clawing at my throat as if to rid myself of the blood I had swallowed. But nothing came. No blood, no relief. My hands clutched at my chest as I wheezed, heart hammering, the terror from the dream still pulsing through me.

He was persistent for sure. I am a heavy sleeper when I'm tired and I dream a lot. When I sleep my mouth gets very dry and I usually wake up very thirsty. I sometimes dream of being thirsty, like in a desert. I fell asleep on the floor this one day and remember dreaming of all kinds of things. I was on a boat on rough seas and I was rocking with the waves. I wasn't seasick but I was thirsty. I had a bottle of water and I was trying to get a drink but nothing would come out. The boat was rocking and I was hanging on with one hand, trying to get water with the other. I was trying and trying to get the bottle to my mouth but I kept missing.

Am also frustration because my sleepless nights have turned into ones with dreams, dreams that shouldn’t even be in the fore center of my frontal lobes. The last time I had closed my eyes I had seen him, literally felt him devouring my mouth, I dreamt about his mouth on mine so vividly it had felt so terrifyingly real, so real that I didn’t want to wake up. I could actually feel the weight of him pressing close, the rough heat of his breath against my skin while he kissed me like he’d been starving for it. I had been so disoriented and embarrassingly, horrifyingly wet when I woke up and at first I genuinely thought I had somehow spilled water on myself during my sleep but then soon it hit me

Dad teased back. A few hours into my sleep, I awoke. I tend to have nightmares, and they are about me. I kept having the same dream over and over and over again. Me facing a mirror, with my reflection staring back at me, but it was way more different from me, her eyes were ash and black and gold mixed together. It was appealing like it showed so much self-control and power but it was also scary. My mouth had excess blood that had dried and my fangs were shown, along with my claws. They were drenched in blood, I couldn't tell if it was human or not and then my dream would end when I look at my reflection and it would smile back at me.

I saw her again tonight. The little girl and the older man with greying hair. He had her hand held in his and they were glancing at what looked like a massive ocean. Is my mind trying to tell me something? I have been frequently having this dream and every time it happens, I get these crazy unbearable headaches that don't go away even after medications. Tiredly, I sigh throwing the warm fluffy duvet away from my body, and stroll to my bathroom bare feet.

Too real to be just a dream. My eyes shot open as if a vortex force had come whirling down on me, yanking me out of my deep slumber. My heart was racing so fast that my breathing couldn't keep up. My mind went fuzzy for a second as I tried to make sense of the dream, but then I felt something trace the seam right in the middle of my slit with the tip of a tongue, triggering a sensation that ran all the way up to my core. My body jolted upwards as a cold bucket of ice water splashed down on my senses, and I saw Damon's grinning face peering at me between my legs.

Too late to run away from it. "Oh, c'mon." I groaned, making the strange lady who suddenly became my companion in this dream begin laughing. "Well, that answers my question." She was amused, and I rolled my eyes, ignoring her, but I couldn't do it completely since something changed in her as soon as the dark cloud sent us off into some place empty but completely ruined. It was the same view as my usual nightmares, but this time instead of flowing in bundles, they rushed and overlapping at each other. Their rush was too much, causing my head to ache, my nose started to bleed, and when I coughed, I coughed blood.

I tasted something metallic in my mouth. Blood.
