Where Wild Things Roam

Where Wild Things Roam

A lapping splashing sound in the murky reservoir water nearby is the first warning something besides a few fish, amphibians, turtles and waterfowl are out there, but it’s nowhere near enough. “Fucking Christ,” I hiss through my teeth, watching as the hulking bulk of a black lobster-like leviathan with glowing red eyes and a gaping mouth full of multiple rows of teeth levers its way onto the shore, pulling itself forward with twisting flexible limbs like a starfish, or an octopus.

One Hundred Nights with the Black Blindfold

One Hundred Nights with the Black Blindfold

Her face was red, almost incandescent, and her eyes burned with an inner fire. The driver, understanding without a word, gently pulled the curtain separating him from his boss, refusing to hear what was about to happen. Chantelle continued her movements, trying to calm the fire consuming her body. Her breath became short, irregular. The man reached into his pocket, pulled out a black blindfold, and gently placed it over Chantelle's face. He removed his mask. Collen's gaze was troubled seeing the state Chantelle was in, then he slowly approached, his lips meeting Chantelle's with infinite tenderness.

The Blind CEO Who Sees Through Me

The Blind CEO Who Sees Through Me

A painting hangs beside his desk. I don’t know why it draws me in, but I find myself walking closer. Thick strokes of midnight blue and charcoal gray layer the canvas. In the center — barely visible unless you truly look — a thin streak of gold cuts through the darkness. Not bright. Not loud. Just there. A quiet fracture of light. It isn’t something you glance at. It’s something you feel. My fingers almost lift to touch the textured paint. Why would a blind man choose something so visual?

The Blind CEO

The Blind CEO

Catherine had pushed her into the deeper end of the pool — and she truly didn't know how to swim. “I’ve got you, okay? Stop moving!” Catherine shouted. Jade heard her voice, but it already sounded distant. When she opened her eyes briefly underwater, she caught a blurry glimpse of Catherine climbing out of the pool — and running away. Jade was confused. She tried to scream for help, but only bubbles escaped her mouth as she sank deeper, her desperate struggles growing weaker. The pool area was eerily empty now. She felt herself growing tired, her body growing heavier. And then, everything turned black.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Its true nature? What was it? The elders in the Chamber of Commerce exchanged puzzled glances; none had ever heard of such a thing, and the newer members looked even more confused. Fabien stood frozen, uncertain whether to leave or stay. By the time he sensed something was wrong, it was already too late. One of the members standing closest to the pond suddenly shouted, "Look at the fish! T-They..." Before he could finish, the rest rushed over. A breathtaking scene had unfolded around the Goldenflow Carp—it looked like a living painting.

A
I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Claimed by the Forbidden Alpha: Wild Bond

Cael nodded, proud. "It's time for the next phase." He gave a signal, and Jared tossed Aurora a kind of dark leather mask, with thin straps that covered her eyes. She furrowed her brow. "A blindfold?" "To teach you to fight with your senses. To see with smell, to hear with touch. To trust... the bond." She hesitated for a second, but then put on the blindfold. The world went dark. The sound around her intensified. The beating hearts, the wind through the leaves, Cael's breathing.

The Blind Alpha's Mate.

The Blind Alpha's Mate.

Mini nodded her head. "I believe you." She said, clearing her throat to probably get rid of the lip forming within, and nodded to the stairs. "We should go." She said. "They're probably waiting for us." Mini and I walked the rest of the way in silence. She led me to the gym she mentioned earlier, where Ollen and Sam were sparing. I stood by the door and watched the two me. Despite being blind, Ollen was not at a disadvantage, as one might think. He moves swiftly, blocks attacks from his beta, and throws his own punches. He barely missed the other man, hitting at every chance he got.

Surviving The 13 Forbidden Rules of The Aquarium

หลูซื่อเต๋อfalling into the darknessdarkness whispers
Some fish had eyes that glowed in the dark; others had bizarre shapes, as if they had escaped from a nightmare. As they walked through the tunnel, Ploy, who was still in pain from the burn on her hand, tried to distract herself by looking at the marine life. She saw a school of small, colorful fish swimming near the glass. Their eyes looked hungry. "Look! They're so cute!" Ploy exclaimed innocently.

Always Blinded by Jealousy

Always Blinded by Jealousy

James suddenly grabbed her throat with shocking force. "You want to betray me too! You want to abandon me too!" Michelle struggled desperately, finding it harder and harder to breathe as everything began to blur. Survival instinct kicked in as she grabbed a sculpture from the table and smashed it against James's head. James grunted and collapsed to the floor. Michelle clutched her throat, coughing violently. Looking at James lying on the ground, there wasn't a trace of concern in her eyes—only disgust and contempt. "Look at yourself. Without your parents' protection, you're nothing but trash!
