Blood Line Book Novels & Stories

I was trapped in the past, buried in these damn history books like I was trying to dig up my own answers from centuries ago. My fingers flipped another fragile page, the parchment delicate beneath my touch. The text was faded in some areas, but the heading caught my eye: The Blood Legacy of the Bluestone Alpha Line. I leaned in, my eyes scanning every word like it might tell me something new. I’d already pieced together most of it from Ava, Christian, and Tyler over the past few days. But hearing it from their lips wasn’t the same as reading it with my own eyes. The Second Life Gene.

It wasn’t long before I found a section that made my breath catch in my throat. *The Bloodline of the Wolf,* it read. *An ancient lineage, tied to the primordial forces of the earth. The power within this bloodline is both a gift and a curse, a force that can shape the world or destroy it.* My hands trembled as I continued reading. The book spoke of rituals, of ancient rites passed down through generations, each one designed to harness and control the power within the bloodline. But it also spoke of dangers—of the consequences of wielding such power without understanding it.

Some had gone unopened for centuries. I strode past them all until I spotted what I was searching for— Bloodlines & Bonds: A History of Magical Inheritance. It was thick. Leather that didn’t feel like it could be from an animal. I took a seat at the closest table, and I started reading. --- Hours passed. Every page piled more rocks atop the weight that was already crushing my chest. Theodore didn’t just have a marked bloodline — it had been engineered.

"Whatever you saw in that book, I cannot explain. Only powerful seers can open the living book—seers strong enough to kill with their visions alone, seers that can kill races with their minds." The hall went silent. Levi's eyes widened. "So you're saying…" Michael met his eyes. "Levi—Alpha Levi—you possess a special bloodline. The book recognized your blood. That's the only reason it opened." Levi dragged a shaky hand through his hair. "Okay, but why does that matter now? We came here to discuss Roosevelt." King Johnson nodded. "Yes, but your bloodline complicates things." "How?" Levi asked, bewildered. King Johnson didn't answer immediately. Instead, he asked, "Levi… how did your parents di

On both sides, tall black pine trees stood like guards, their branches swaying under the storm. Then the mansion appeared; large, strong, and proud. Its black marble walls glowed faintly under the lightning, silver lines running through them like veins. Tall towers reached into the dark sky, and old glowing symbols were carved along the edges, protecting everything within. When Rufus drove into the courtyard, the sound of the rain softened. A row of black cars sat parked neatly, shining under the lights. Warriors stood by the entrance, their heads bowed the moment our car stopped. Even the air seemed to change, heavy and still, filled with respect.

But instead of kissing me, as part of me had desperately wished, Lucas grasped my hand and interlaced our fingers. It was softer than any kiss would have been. And possibly more intimate. --- Later that night, I returned home to find Ethan sleeping peacefully, arms spread wide like wings across his bed. I sat beside him for a very, very long time, just watching him breathe. He didn't yet understand what bloodlines he carried. What heritage remained unspoken beneath his skin. I hadn't told him about Damien. Or about what it meant to be the secret of a powerful family's tale. But eventually, I would have to.

I thought of the world that was currently waking up to a silence it didn’t understand. But as I felt that tiny, second heartbeat pulse against my palm, I didn’t feel like a fugitive. I didn’t feel like a victim of a global conspiracy. I felt like an Architect. The first book was about the blood. It was about the betrayal and the breaking of the old world. It was about the trauma of the glass and the roar of the mountain. But the second book? The one we were starting right now, in this quiet French valley? That book was going to be about the Home.

He steps beside me. This time, when he looks at the page, he can see it too. The first line writes itself slowly. If the book opens, the seal has weakened. I stop breathing. More words appear beneath it. If the seal has weakened, the bloodline has returned. And then if you are reading this, then you are the daughter we failed to bury from history. My hands shake. Kael takes the book before I drop it. He reads the next lines out loud, his voice low and hard. “The Silverborne line was not cursed. It was chosen. Not to rule the packs, but to close what should never have been opened.”

She was only brutally honest. The wolf princess walked further into the hallway until she was right in front of Carys’s room. “If you are going to open this door, do it quickly." Her shoulders went up to signal that her hands were hurting. Carys’s ended up opening the door, and Lyra marched in fiercely, dropping several books onto the table. “Pack bloodlines. Court alliances. Noble territories,” Lyra listed. “You need to learn who wants you gone.” Carys stared at the books blankly. “That sounds exhausting.”

She bent close to the inked lines, eyes losing their surface sharpness and taking on the inward tilt Evelyn recognized as the beginning of a reading. “Moonsblood will ask a price,” Aleta said after a quiet minute. She kept her voice level, as if naming weather. “Not in blood, necessarily. But in truth. The man who called you will not accept victory if it comes too easily. He needs a story worth telling himself. You cannot change that. You can only refuse to be written in his evil script.” “We had planned for that,” Damon said.
