I will look death in the face and spit in its eye. He stands over me-the great beast I spent my life hating. I was told my dragon captor would be blue and he is. Though blue doesn't quite cover the shades of color rippling over his scales. From the fairest blue sky to the dark of the moon, the light illuminates his incredible hide. The dragon seemed to have gone out of control as she singlehandedly decimated the entire rogue population fighting against us. She was a beautiful light blue dragon with scales of colours ranging from hues of blue to purple. She looked like a Goddess and by the looks of it, I could tell that she was a Sea Dragon.

It was pure. “They dared to piss on our gates, then went home by laying our dogs on pure trash,” the Emperor whispered, his voice creeping slowly through the pores of every elder present. Not a cry of fury, but rather a promise of absolute death. "Alexander Sterling... you may be immune to banking sabotage, but let's see if your European fangs are immune to pure dragon blades." The Emperor stood up. His golden silk robe fluttered. For a hundred years, he never left his throne in Asia. But tonight, pure imperial prestige had been slapped right in his face!

I nodded, now understanding why he was looking at her so intently just the day before. “She’s in safe hands. Return with honor.” Orion slapped my back, having me look at him wide-eyed. Did he just slap me? “Ready?” Odessa looked longingly at me once more as the three of us let our smoke engulf us. Black for me, navy for Nicholas, and light green for Amora. Our dragons reared their heads back, roaring loudly a battle cry that could be heard for miles. If Adam was lucky, maybe he could prepare himself.

Ferdinand was dumbstruck, filling the silence with whatever words linked up on his tongue. “Sure.” Draco acknowledged his statement. “You look… powerful.” Ferdinand hadn’t seen the old dragon since the reign of the old tyrant king… no, a couple of years ago when he asked for the nails. Draco hadn’t aged a day, his skin covered in bright ink, his eyes liquid tar, his arrogant face. “You look so much like your father,” Draco noted. “The old tyranny who dares to injure my baby son.” He ground his teeth at the last sentence. “I hear they call you the Ambitious Emperor of The Unknown now.”

Ren said with a pleasant smile as he gestured to the palace behind him. “Wow…just…wow…” I said what I honestly felt. I heard Ren laugh softly next to me at my reaction to the massiveness of his palace. It was a crime against humanity that someone could live in a place this massively huge all by himself. Ren’s palace was too big for me to accurately describe and decorated with statues and carvings of dragons everywhere. Red and gold were the main colors used to decorate his palace as fitting of the crown prince of the Flame Dragon Empire. The official seal of the empire along with Ren’s official seal were featured side by side in various places on the exterior of the building.

He could hear the awe and admiration in his master’s voice as he talked about his ancestor. “He was a legend…” Chris’s master’s eyes sparkled with admiration as he thought back to his yesteryears. “He was known as the blue-eyed dragon emperor in the cultivation world.” “Did he ascend?” Chris asked curiously. “You are only one step away… would you?” Chris’s master asked with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
