Thank you guys for your never ending love and support. I know I’ve been MIA for some weeks now and I haven’t been updating this book. But I promise my reasons for not doing so is valid. You see, I live in Jamaica and earlier this month a devastating hurricane wreaked havoc over my little island which resulted in many power and water outages. In my area we didn’t have any deaths, but many homes were lost due to the hurricane and we didn’t have electricity for over three weeks. We as a people have been working to try and get back our lives to normal. It is hard, but we just have to give God thanks that majority of us came out of this catastrophe with our lives and loved ones in tact. So again,

Stormy sighed and said, " Yeah, my brother is right. We're just here to cool off like you're both doing. There's no cause for alarm. We won't harm you. Enjoy yourselves." We dived into the water and before we knew it, the girl stopped swimming, came out of the water, put their dresses on and fled. Stormy and I were dumbfounded. We didn't allow their awkwardness to stop our fun, anyway. As we continued swimming, we saw a book on one of the rocks around the waterfalls. As my curiosity took hold of me, I got out of the water to take a look at the book.

*** Ariana’s POV The storm had rolled in overnight, a deep, growling thing that rattled the windows and left the world drenched in a misty gray. I stood at the window of my room, the glass cold under my palm, watching the rain streak down in erratic rivulets. Training was canceled—not surprising given the weather—leaving me with an unusual stretch of unstructured time. Sighing, I grabbed my book from the nightstand, slipping the delicate pressed-flower bookmark between the pages. The sight of it made me pause. Draven’s work.
