The page I had open showed a list of weird, made-up names. One stood out. “How about... Damon?” He didn’t say anything, just looked at me.

Then, I went to the wardrobe and looked for clean clothes to wear after a short warm bath. Today, I planned to meet Aloisia’s best friend and the second male lead of this novel, Alphonse. He had a super long name that I couldn’t remember. Basically, the author didn’t bother to use his surname much. He was a Marquis, a distant relative of Aloisia, and he was in love with Viessa. Everyone called him ‘Marquis Alphonse’ or just ‘Alphonse’. He was also a good friend of Kaige Jin, the king or whatever. I couldn’t give a damn about Kaige. He was the same as Dante. No, he was worse than Dante.

“Of course you do.” He pulled out his phone and started scrolling. “Okay, so some traditional werewolf names: Fenrir, Lyall, Ulric—” “We're not naming our baby Fenrir.” “What about Moonbeam?” I threw a pillow at his face. “Absolutely not.” “Moonlight? Luna—wait, that might be confusing.” He dodged another pillow. “Okay, okay. What about normal names?” We spent an hour going through possibilities, laughing at ridiculous suggestions and debating serious ones. Christian wanted to use the name—Richard—if we had a boy.
