"Sounds fair," Lillian admitted. "You're killing me here," Solomon sulked. "Anyone with a brain would check the stores first." "Good call." She grabbed his arm, dragging him to the shop. Moments later, they stood at the counter. The owner handed snacks to students from a glass case. Those colorful packs were labeled "Dream Candy". The slogan went like, "Want high scores? Eat Dream Candy." "Two packs, please. Pink ones," Lillian said, drawn to the bright packaging.

I lock the car. "I need a few things. Also, we need to get some snacks." I say grabbing a cart. "What snacks?" He asks following me. "Anything you want. You get to pick a drink, dessert, and a regular snack like popcorn or chips. I get to do the same." I say walking towards the snack section and look around for sour cream and onion chips. "Are you going to pick something out?" I ask. "Right, be right back." He says getting out of the aisle and as if he's a superhero he comes back with a two liter of cherry cola, birthday cake oreos, and pringles.

Diana said. “Not at all,” Ruth said and took the glass from Diana and soon it was replaced by another one with pink lemonade. They toasted to a fruitful book club and sipped. Both Rayvin and Diana sniffed before drinking, but neither of them could smell anything suspicious, so they sipped. “Now, let’s get to know each other,” Ruth said. They went around the group, introducing themselves. They kept sipping on their drinks and after a while, they got started on the apple pie. “This is heavenly,” Andreya, a middle age stay at home mom, said.

“Only when it comes to food.” I chuckled. “Noted. What about snacks?” She tilted her head, thinking. “Hmm… chocolate.
