Our waitress brings us the check and we quickly split it before heading back to the house to get snacks ready for the movie. Once back at the house we pack some cold drinks, beer for the guys, and a few White Claws for Grace. I stick a bottle of water in the cooler for myself and some grapes for if I get hungry. Our other bag is filled to the brim with al different types of snacks. Everything from Ketchup chips to fruit roll-ups. We climb into Luke’s truck and head to the theatre. We pay to get in with a half-hour to spare. Enough time to set the pillows and blankets into the bed of the truck and get some cute photos.

Earlier after we ate at the resto, I went to a store and bought a lot of Korean snacks and hid them in my bag. I'm a sucker for sweets, I bought tons of the same products, like Lotte Pepero, Calbee Honey Butter Chips, Banana Milk, Lotte Binch Biscuits, Choco-Pie, Shrimp Crackers, Tteokbokki Snacks, Seaweed, Lotte Ghana Milk Chocolate, Waffle Mate, etc. I think that's what my backpack is mostly filled right now, aside from my book and phone. I opened the Honey Butter and munched without a care.

I pulled out my phone and opened the supplier app we usually used for production days. Two minutes later, I had added coffee beans, oat milk, almond milk, coconut water, sparkling water, electrolyte packets, yogurt, cheese sticks, cut fruit, apples, strawberries, crackers, hummus, turkey sandwiches, chicken wraps, salad cups, dark chocolate, protein bars that didn’t taste like drywall, chips, popcorn, trail mix, frozen empanadas, and one box of mini brownies because no one who had to argue with rich families about napkins should be expected to survive without sugar. Nina appeared over my shoulder. “That’s enough food for a small school.”

"Glad to hear. I'll be there soon." I glanced at the assortment of snacks I'd picked up earlier: Lay's Poppables Sweet Potato Sea Salt chips, a new release that had caught my eye , and a selection of Utz pretzels, their familiar packaging evoking memories of countless road trips . I pull away. "Not here." I can feel my face cool down. "Then, let's go back to the room." Jack whispers huskily. The offer is tempting, then my stomach growls. I'm hungry for two reasons. One, because my mate is sexy as ever. Two, because I haven't eaten in four hours. "Are you hungry?" Jack plays with my hair. I nod. "KFC?" I smile. After ordering, we eat in the car. We pass cute stores, filled with anything and everything. There is a store called, I'm So Booked! It was a calendar and a book store. I laugh at the clever word play.

I lift a hand to scratch my nose, only to hide my smile. That's so cute. "Am I keeping you from dinner with your mom right now? Because I promise it's cool if you leave, I can bring you with me tomorrow," I say, but Bram starts shaking his head right away, "Seriously." "No, seriously. She has a book club every Wednesday and Friday, so those days I have to eat leftovers because she won't be around. She comes late at night, drunk on wine and gets angry if I ate all the leftovers," he says, giving me an insight into his life that I know most people would pay for. I eat it the fuck up, "So, it's cool if I stay."

After a quick stop at the restroom, she returned to the U-Haul with a bag full of junk food and two coffees, her mocha and a black coffee for Kyle. Kyle laughed, making a face. “Now that’s disgusting—even for you.” The rest of the ride, they argued over music and snacks—especially when Gemma discovered Kyle had eaten the last of the powdered dough
