Book Find Her Novels & Stories

Clara soon realized that pacing would do nothing to help her current situation, so she climbed back into bed with her stomach facing up, she placed her both hands on her tummy, crossed her legs and eyes fixed on the ceiling. While she was thinking, she remembered the old rusty looking book that Jeremy had given to her. Maybe the accident was really affecting me, cause I just can't explain all these unfathomable feelings I was having towards her. I got up from my bed and decided to check if she was fine. I walked towards her room and I found the door opened, I stepped inside to find the room empty. Where the fu*k did she go. I saw two books on her bed, these are the two books that has been keeping her busy. My curiosity got a better hold of me, I picked up one of the books, only to find out she was writing a novel which she titled Pregnant for the bully.

Except for that, it was the books of magic that hunters could do. ‘I don’t even know what exactly I’m looking for?’ She thought in frustration. She sat on the chair in anger for not being able to find anything, and that was when her eyes landed on the dustbin under the table she was sitting on, and there was a book in it. She quickly picked it up and checked it. It was the whole blank; she smiled, finally finding the book that was for her. No one could read the book except her; maybe that was why they had thrown the book in the dustbin. She touched the first page of the book, and soon letter’s started appearing on the page.

Her breath hitched a little at my close proximity, and slowly her eyes looked up into mine. "I was." she stuttered, staring at me. "Just, um. In the library, I found something that I thought was pretty interesting." She piqued my curiosity, and I gestured for her to show me. "What is it?" She pulled the book from underneath her arm and scanned through the pages until she found the one she was looking for. Turning the book towards me, she showed me a photo of a soft, elegant woman with regal attributes. Her long white hair flowed down over her shoulders, and a tall red and gold crown sat upon her head.

She was obviously having fun and was facing away from me. I decided to go and meet the girl and talk to her. Without hesitation, I headed to where she was lying and as I approached her, the title of the book she was reading caught my eye. The title of the book was 'How To Make Demons Your Best Friend.' I stopped in my track and gazed at the title of the book for a couple of seconds before I continued walking toward her. As I got to where she lay, I stood a few inches from her head and stared at her. Suddenly, she flinched as she noticed my presence. She closed the book and sat up. Then, she raised her head to look at me and we made eye contact.

She searched through the list and heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that she brought a book that had something to do with spells. She dumped the rest of the and sat on the floor, her back resting on the frame of the bed while she focused her attention to the book, flipping through the page in quick succession, it didn’t mattered that she didn’t saw Daphne, she would find out what was needed to be found out by herself and she would be dead before she gave up on Maverick.

She was sitting on the floor, papers spread out around her like fallen leaves. Her lips moved slightly as she read like she was tasting the words. “You always did like hiding in here,” I said. She looked up, not startled. “Books don’t ask questions.” I stepped inside, letting the door close behind me. “You were at court this morning.”

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands. I stopped short when I saw the cover. ‘Knot We Cannot Untie.’ That was the book he was holding. I can't believe that Kael would be reading one of Linda Lively’s books. “You read… this?” I said, the surprise evidently in my voice. Kael looked up, one brow raised. “Why? You think I only read racing magazines and bank statements?” I gave a small laugh. “Chill bro. It’s just… not what I was expecting ”

She looked delicate, fragile, and almost spoiled. On the way here, George had told me he’d once tried to send her away overseas for the best medical care, for school, and even just for travel. However, she refused.
