She walked out carrying a massive book. I recognized what it was right away. It’s the type of book that you use for a portfolio. “You got me a new book?” “Kinda.” Penny showed me the cover. It had a Black Moon with two wolves howling. The leather was fresh as I could smell it. Alec took the cover and opened it for me.

“What do you mean?” “I'd been able to fly a broom since I was nine. I'll simply be wasting my time in the class when I'd rather be consumed in a book.” “Good old Trisha,” Harold said with a grin. “Golden Lake's very own genius.” “There's no need for flattery,” Trisha said although she liked that they showered her with praises. Wilkes turned to look at Harold. “How about you? What do you have now?” Harold peeled the paper Trisha had given him open.

Riffling through the long dark book and peeking at it through his spectacles. "I think the first published set has been exhausted and out of the market for the meantime, but I think I have few left over copies here" he uttered wetting the tip of his index finger with saliva.

Charlatans! The back room was large. He searched, until he found the book, he searched for. The book was massive, covered in a thick layer of dust. The cover was locked with a handle that was shaped like a figure with elongated arms, he forced the lock. Nothing happened, he wasn't losing hope. With one movement of his hand, he removed the layer of dust.

Matteo’s POV Smoke and tension clung to the air like a wet shroud. The subdued hum of conversation and clinking glass were nearly inaudible in a place where one came to hear oneself think. The crystal chandeliers hung in the air like shards of stars, casting fractured light on the velvet-lined booths. I sat back in my chair, slouching my arm across the leather top, fingers tracing patterns no one else knew. I fixed my gaze on the man seated opposite me.

Division 24 The man looked confused. "The deaths? It has been peaceful in this area." Beatrice frowned. "How so." She mumbled to see a figure leave the church through the other door close to a burner. "Ha! Something is burning." She said, and the father turned to have his eyes widened. They both walked to the pulpit of the church and behold a book was on the burner while the fiery fire burned. Father Jude had gone to bring water to quench the fire and when the fire that had been burning was quenched, Beatrice squinted her eyes to see that three of the books in the burner had burnt to ashes but one had not burned..not a single scratch on its body.

I could only hope that she would have settled in again by tonight, because otherwise I would be allowed to sleep on the couch one night again - and it was really uncomfortable. Sighing, I leaned back and opened the completely tattered book again, which I actually already knew by heart.
