It was like the soup was pulled right out of a cartoon. I peered into the bowl, taking in the sight of the large diced carrots and some unfamiliar green bits floating in the broth. It looked like something straight out of a cartoon, with its vibrant colors and odd appearance. I picked the wooden spoon and stirred the soup, was hot, a bit slimy, definitely not something I would like to take.
