Wings Of Love

Wings Of Love

A soldier suddenly sprouted two wings on his body, he was flying in the sky, so he dodged. The test ended, only a few people remained. Bella Risa looked at the young man who was probably in his twenties, his handsome face retracting his wings. With a little praise, she couldn't help but blurt out: "He's both handsome and very good." Raph Conrad glanced at the woman, eyes glazed over at the other man. For some reason, there was some discomfort in his heart, and his tone was more harsh: "A group of ten people, but only a few people passed. Everyone, what kind of practice is this?”

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Whispers of Frost and Fire

Then—an explosion. The fire surged, twisting unnaturally, moving with purpose, as though it were alive. A wave of heat slammed into me. I turned my body, shielding the child as I rolled out of the way, the flames licking at my back. Pain flared, sharp and searing. My wolf howled in agony, but I clenched my teeth. I could heal. The child couldn’t. The fire withdrew as quickly as it had come. I forced myself to my feet, gripping the girl tightly in my arms.

Wingless and Beautiful

Wingless and Beautiful

“Guys! Do you want me to leave? You can do this all day by yourselves. I think you got it covered. You don’t need me here.” They stopped talking at once. We ate in silence for the first five minutes. Then Chaise asked, “How’s your Lit paper going?” “Practically writing itself,” I replied. Denise groaned. “I haven’t even started mine.” Our teacher asked us to write a review of the bestsellers tackling the controversies in religion. I already picked out The Da Vinci Code. I have read that book about a thousand times. Chaise and Denise both said they were lost. They hadn’t even chosen a book to review yet.

Beautiful love story, one of the most unique plots I’ve read so far with. Very touching & emotional but still realistic. Also it’s rare plotpoint that Hero & heroine are each other’s firsts. Technically well-written - no grammatical errors! Wish there were more Hero’s POV, but loved it anyway.

Wow, truly beautiful story. Started out fast and kept improving. Cried a lot in the beginning (had to pause until I calmed down). Also, laughed at times. The characters were very mature and I’m glad Hunter and Alice were able to overcome the trauma in their lives. Well written. Worth reading.

Flames of Regret

Flames of Regret

I let out a hollow laugh as I heard Benedict's explanation. "Benedict, spare me the nonsense. If things were really as you said, I might feel wronged, but I wouldn't be divorcing you over it. "Do you think I don't know? When a firefighter is faced with a life-or-death choice, the protocol is to save the closest person first. I was clearly nearer to you. Celestine was lagging far behind because she ran slower. Yet, you didn't even look at me—you went straight to her.

*Last chapter! Yay! So someone is going to die. I know, spoiler much? Jsyk, I am crying way more than you are, if you do ಥ╭╮ಥ Listening to Before you go by Lewis Capaldi * * It was not easy at first. Having to pull men through tents and snap their heads, because there was a high possibility they would heal again. Yet he had to be thankful for the twins. Who psychotically, and happily set them on fire or drove Icicles through their head.

Beneath Stained Glass Wings

Beneath Stained Glass Wings

The lights spread in the clouds above us, coloring the dull brown sand in a spray of rainbows. He nudges my arm. We have to get going. “I know.” But I can’t help but look back for any shape or shadow of Caelum, of the city of shining dragons’ wings and shimmering illusions, the rock that holds this world together, the place where I grew up. Home. Without it, the helpless ground dwellers would have no water in the unforgiving desert, they wouldn’t have food distributed so no one goes hungry, they would still be a savage race that enslaves and fights one another. The people I now have to live amongst, so different from the peaceful dragons of my home. “I know.” I spread my wings and spring for

Flames Of Twinflames

I left without waiting for her reply. I ran to the nearest hill point. I sat down on a bench and gasped for air. While taking long breaths, Georges' Voice echoed in my mind, "Who's your first love?" Clouds started thundering, indicating the heavy rainfall that's going to occur. But my mind was too busy to notice that warning, as it's busy reminiscing about the past. The past that holds both good and bad memories. A loud thunder followed by lightening, brought back all memories which I buried deep down in my heart.

and for a last selfish wish I prayed for peacefulness of mind before the end struck. Opening my eyes wide, I saw nothing but fire. This was nonsense, nothing I'll ever come up with is going to save this night. Savoring the rich sip of fluid fire that was now devouring me all trough and trough, I started to understand the point it was making; it was not going to stop. Never.

Lost to Fire: Book Two

I tell her, remembering I am now her new tutor. "Okay," she sighs. "What would you like to read?" I ask, and as if I made her day again, she smiles brilliantly and answers: "Ovid's Metamorphosis!" I can't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. "Why that book?" I am intrigued a little girl would be so excited to read a book meant for college students. I should know. I had to read the book as part of my mythology elective. "Because of the gods and goddesses!" She simply answers.
