I forced myself to stand, ignoring the way the room spun around me. A sharp knock interrupted our conversation before Lucien could argue further. "Alpha!" Finn's voice called through the door. "You need to see this. Both of you." Lucien helped me to the door, his arm around my waist providing crucial support. Outside, the settlement was buzzing with activity as people pointed toward the northern sky. What I saw there made my breath catch. Aurora-like lights danced across the heavens, but instead of the usual green and blue, these were silver and gold. They pulsed in rhythm with something that felt distinctly familiar, something that resonated with the power still flowing through my blood.

I swallowed hard and do as stated; a bit shy that Kuya David caught me staring at Triton… “I still couldn’t get used in the world of these normal people; it is way different from our world. A few minutes later, someone pushed a wheelchair over. Wayne stared solemnly at Stephen York. Wayne waved his hand, motioning the person behind him to leave. He then turned his wheelchair and went to Stephen’s side. The twins exchanged glances. Wayne sighed. “Stephen, I’m going to South Light again soon. I’ll be bringing with me the power of the Leo family from Hong Kong.” “That man is sitting back and waiting for us in South Light. We should have stayed away.” Stephen said indifferently, “I understand what you mean. Are you saying we should quit and retire for good?”

It seemed Pete had better taste in things like this. “Are you frequent?” She asked while looking at the bar's interior. The lights were dim but bright enough to spot irregular activities but there were some tables with darker lights than the others. “Yes, my friend own this place. We come here to chill some weekends.” Amelia nodded, maybe she got him wrong. Maybe not. “Aren't you going to get me drinks?” Amelia asked. “What do you want?” “Tequila. Five bottles.” Pete smiled, “Okay.” Even though he wasn't going to get as much as that.

But just when it seemed that all hope was lost, a sudden burst of light flooded the cavern, illuminating their surroundings with a warm, golden glow. With a sense of relief washing over them, Cassia and her companions turned to see the source of the light, their eyes widening in amazement as they beheld a figure standing before them. It ran through the system of caves, sweeping and whipping and throwing everything and everyone out of the other openings and into the bright moonlight where Caine was waiting to sort them all out. He got a huge kick out of all of the screams he could hear coming from the caves everytime a blinding emerald green light would flash and emanate out into the darkness from every available opening. It created the most wonderful light show. Something possibly akin to the northern lights, or a really good laser show.

Lalaine was shocked when she found Stella laying on the floor, the moon light illuminates her like flittering lights in the night. The crystal orbs surrounds her, slowly lifting her from the ground. She immediately called out Nana, Aeriol, Nathaniel, and Lynx. Aeriol immediately pull out Stella from the illuminating light and lay her to bed. Nathaniel and Lynx looks out the window and saw a beautiful red rose. As if the moon light blessing it. The more light it absorb, the radiant the color gets. Lynx trails back to Leis last words.

While the southern coast was secure following the destruction of the Dredger, the eastern high-line the mountain passes that led to the forgotten manufacturing nodes of the upper plateau, were beginning to signal a new crisis. Alexander stood on the exposed observation deck of the southern terminus, a heavy canvas coat shielding him from the freezing mountain wind. The air was clear, but far to the east, along the jagged black spine of the ridge, a rhythmic, pulsing blue light was cutting through the mountain mist.

I frown, wondering why she's showing me a picture of him. "He's to me as you are to Lucian," she explains softly and my mouth drops open in shock at what was just revealed. It's a known fact that the Southern Territory and the Eastern Territory have bad blood. My eyes flick up to her and she gives me a weak smile before she grabs her phone. I watch as she pockets it in her trousers. She looks out the window to admire the magnificent night view of the city. The lights from the city add to the ambience of the sparkling stars hanging in the dark sky with only a crescent of a moon winking at us.
