XXX Hailstorm POV I flopped down on the bed, a loud sigh coming from me. The pregnancy book was slowly giving me a headache, the information needing an expert and someone NOT a student to be able to make a success. How the hell was I going to be a parent!? “Everything okay there Hailstorm?” Kira asked. She was sitting on the floor, her back against the wall. In front of her was a notebook and (typical Killer fashion) she was making notes about everything. Kira had a habit of writing things down.

And somewhere in the quiet, his hand found my waist again, slow and unconscious, fingers resting there like a claim he didn’t know he was making. I didn’t move away. I closed my eyes and let myself feel it, the warmth, the weight, the fragile miracle of Dawson Lane sleeping through the night. In the other room, Liberty’s laughter had finally faded into silence. Outside, the world stayed dark and uncertain. But in this bed, for a few precious hours, the storm inside him quieted. My heart, stupid, faithful, terrified, beat like it had finally been allowed to speak.

I get out of bed In a hurry and I get dressed frantically, not caring what I'm putting on just so I have something on. As I open the door from my cabin, all I see is flames. I can hear screaming from pack members, as my heart sinks to the ground. I race out to see what I can do, but when I realize there is no battle happening. I'm confused to what the fuck is happening.

Moments later I feel the headphones placed over my ears and the deafening sound of the storm is muffled. Raven I'm worried about Anita. She not only went to see Joe but there's a current storm going on outside and I'm the only one known to calm her down. Amelia is scared asking for her mother while clinging to my right side. Anita is the only one who can calm her during a storm, even if Anita is scared of them herself.

It's a bit heavy but I manage as her mom helps her out of the bed and toward the door. "I'll talk with the nurse. You two just head down. Take the key" She handed me the key. "Thanks" "It's a SUV" Storm said to me and I nodded. I spotted the only SUV I saw in the plot and it was red so I walked toward it. I placed the bag in the trunk and helped Storm get into the car. I seat next to her and close the door. My lips move against hers immediately. She didn't hold back or hesitate either.

I reached out for the notebook from the doc and gave this beautiful specimen of a man what he asked for. “Ellie-May!” he bellowed. In walked in a blonde supermodel. Olive skin, chocolate brown eyes and a figure that every man dreams of on a woman. Curves in all the right places and definitely more than a handful. I gulped and used the back of my hand to dab away any drool from my mouth. “Yes, Gio?” “You have a new quest.” “Can I ask what happened?” Gio held out his hand for the note book,ripped off he page with the details he asked for and passed Ellie the book to read what I wrote.

Well, now Dastan Lemos, is that how you really feel about me and my work, it’s insignificant to you, is that it then, that’s good to know. She moves away from me and walks into the closet, she comes out carrying a suitcase and lays it down on the bed and begins packing, walking back and forth. What the hell are you doing Stormie? What does it look like? I mean you may be stupid but you’re certainly not blind! *smack*

Poor Byron was confused about the situation. ‘Child, we’re getting closer.’ Helighor informed me. ‘Get your little friends ready because it’s going to be a little chaotic once we enter. On the other side, the environment is not as pleasant as any sea storm. Get your monstrous friend to swim underneath me so you won’t get blown away by the storm?’ ‘Storm? What storm? The water is calm.’ ‘On this side, it’s clear. But in his cage, it isn’t.’ “What’s wrong? You have that look on your face again.” Skyr moved closer to me as he asked.
