Book X Pillow Novels & Stories

​With a swift, almost violent movement, she snatched the pillow away and flipped it over. ​Tucked into a small, expertly sewn slit on the underside, concealed by the pillow's own voluminous structure, was a small, leather-bound book. It was an old journal, the leather worn smooth, the edges soft with age. She ran her thumb over the cover, the scent of aged paper and Luca's subtle cologne filling her senses. ​She had dressed this pillow a hundred times. She had plumped it, thrown it aside during restless nights, and straightened it every morning.

The sun shone brightly, casting a soft glow on Cora's cheek as the redhead breathed softly and evenly. If one were to look around the room, one would see wall-to-wall bookshelves filled with hundreds of books that she had read. On her door and on the ceiling were posters of cats, dogs, flowers, and even some bands. Her comforter/duvet was wrapped around her and she lay on two fluffy pillows and was surrounded by a dozen more. All of the throw pillows and the comforter were yellow and had sunflower patterns on them.

Amora asked Alex while looking at Alex and his hands looking for the book. "No, mother, I didn't find it" Alex replied while wiping his sweat because he was tired of looking for the book. Until suddenly, Amora saw a book that was on the top shelf. The book was dark purple in color and had white beads that glowed and the only book that gave off a white glow. "Alex, that book looks interesting could you please get me the book?" Amora said while pointing at the shelf where the book was, Alex suddenly looked at the book and nodded to his mother as a sign that he was going to take the book.

The bar stools for the island are made out of old whiskey barrels that also matches the custom made bookshelf that lines the wall in the living room. We each head to our rooms to finish decorating. My room has a queen sized bed with quilt that has soft neutral colors of grey and taupe which highlight the beautiful horses in the meadow among the green and golden trees. It has a decorative pillow that says ‘life is better with a horse’ and a picture of Beauty on it. I have my own personal bookshelf and a handmade braided juice rug that is light brown.

Soft rugs were scattered around in different shapes that were playful, comforting. Against the far wall, a reading nook had been built with shelves filled from top to bottom. Picture books for the little ones, novels of all kinds for the older ones. Damn near every topic that you could think of. Fiction, non-fiction, manga, history, lore, etc. A huge, cushioned bench wrapped along the windows, covered in pillows so fluffy even I wanted to curl up on them.

The world within those pages had been too captivating to leave. I pushed myself up, but something was wrong. The surface beneath my cheek wasn’t the textured, glossy paper of a book. It was the soft, cool fabric of my pillow. My gaze snapped to my nightstand. There it was. The thick novel, nestled neatly beside the two others, a dark purple ribbon marking the page I’d been on. My breath caught. I didn’t move it. I would never have moved it. I fell asleep reading. I was sure of it.

Even from my vantage point on the floor, I could see both walls were lined with books and large overstuffed chairs with fluffy cushions created the perfect reading nook. But by far the most eye-catching piece was the massive bed positioned along the back wall. It had to be custom made and I didn’t even want to contemplate what that had cost but it would easily accommodate the three of us. It was covered in a luxuriously plush, white duvet and rustic but functional throw pillows. Draped along the bottom edge was a soft fur blanket that I couldn’t wait to feel sliding against my skin as one or both of my mates fucked me. I smiled at the eyes wide open honey pie in front of me and began reading, as slowly as I could.

I swear that thing was taller than him if we made it stand. We had pizza for lunch and voted that the bookstore would be our last stop. Rosie found the newest addition to a series of books she was collecting, and I stumbled upon a book illustrated by Jessica Wright. “This is the lady we met this morning!” Rosie exclaimed when I showed her. “It’s so pretty,” she awed as she opened it. It was a big, old-fashioned storybook, and Rosie was studying a whole page drawing of a princess. “We should buy it too,” I said, and Rosie gave me a huge smile.
