Captive Of The Count

Captive Of The Count

He threw it at me and I caught it. "Open that book and go to page 50, rule 89. Read it." I did as he bid with an eye roll and got to the page, "Rule eighty-nine." I began, "On no account should there be privacy or boundaries between best friends for it creates rifts, and arguments and breaks the relationship."I mouthed it to myself alone knowing I would stutter if I tried to read the words out, I slammed the pages shut, "Who wrote this shit?" "Turn to the covers dummy."

Love this book! Will their be a book 3 in this series? I sure hope to find out how things will continue to work out for all the characters (I don’t want to give details so not to spoil things for new readers)

This book is a sequel to “The Alpha King’s Rejected Mate” and should be read after the first book. Plot was very interesting and the enemies to lovers vibe was super intense! The book could use proofreading, but overall a great story with a HEA! :)

Small Town Girl

Small Town Girl

And lifting my leg, so I was on one knee, did nothing to initiate her filling her lungs. Go big or go home. "Masyn, I never imagined when we met in kindergarten that seventeen years later you'd be my best friend. But now that I've had you, I never want to let you go. I know it's fast, although not really, considering how long I've loved you, and-"

WITH ALL MY LIVES

WITH ALL MY LIVES

She might have laughed at herself for having a deep conversation with a child if this was on a different occasion but she’ll let this one pass. “And that exactly is why I feel so bothered.” She answered, “If only adults don’t try to carry it all alone. Does friendship don’t mean anything when we grow up? Me and my best friend does everything together.” “Look, kid. Adults don’t carry things alone just because they wanted to. Most of us have enough baggage to even have the ability to help others. The more you age, the more responsibilities you get. People change when they grow up. Everyone do, even you would eventually change. Now, if you and your best friend is still the best of friends when

Revenge System

Revenge System

Although Alva is not a villain, no one likes someone who hurts the main character. That was my thinking before I had a friend. Out of school, I could no longer read another book, because I couldn't afford it and my parents wouldn't support me anymore, which meant I had to go to work on my own. A person like me with nothing but novels in mind, of course, couldn't get a job anywhere, but after a lot of hard work, I made a friend. I've never had a friend so I can't tell if he's a good or bad friend, not unexpected, I was cheated on for a long time.

Something Good

Something Good

June June was someone who had a rough time in school. She was not too sharp with books yet not so bad. But she was in a place where people, were judged by academics and she wasn't given enough opportunity to do anything, there were people pulling her down frequently. People around were too shallow to let her be. She was that unnoticed girl who was like invisible to everyone. Her presence din't really affect anyone but nor did her absence. She thought she wouldn't make any friends in her life ever. Yet in her final two years of High School she managed to make pretty decent friends. She loved and cherished memories of those awesome people. For her love was something magical, she thought when s

Born Again

Born Again

A friend is supposed to be someone you know well and like. Someone who always supports the best in you. A person who has the same interests and opinions as yours. If I can have someone like that in my life, I`ll get a clearer picture of the path I really need to take. But who could it be? I once had a friend, I wouldn’t say I knew him well and like him. We were just naughty school kids. Maybe I should make new friends because those weren’t really friends. They were vultures in a sheepskin.

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

The Alpha King Stubborn Mate

'When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. People come, people go – they'll drift in and out of your life, almost like characters in a favorite book. When you finally close the cover, the characters have told their story and you

Her Facebook Friend.

Her Facebook Friend.

[Jacqueline] [Jacqueline's POV] I grew up hearing the admonition that friends are the root of all evil, that your company will decide who you are going to be. Today, however, my perception changed. Friends, in and of themselves, are neither evil nor good; it is only what happens with us once we make friends that what qualities we absorb from them. But friends can be a bubble of happiness, for maintaining our happy lives. We need to have friends to keep us alive and not just simply living a boring life. Rohan was livid at her response.

I love stories of people's struggles. We can't escape from it. The character of Jacqueline seems real to me. Her struggles, her pain. I feel it all. Hoping she gets a happy ending. And please update fast.😊

Well... I am still reading this book, but so far, Jacky's life has been intriguing in it's own way and I can't wait to see how things play out.❤️ P. S the mention of SRK made me love this story more ❤️❤️

Complicated Friendships

Complicated Friendships

He doesn’t even apologize for what he’s said! I turn right around without even responding and start fumbling with my keys. Why did I bother to lock this damn door? After I enter my apartment, I slam my keys down on my coffee table. What a miserable guy. Who does he think he is?! He thinks he’s all that, just because he has some cushy job in finance. He couldn’t even be bothered to make conversation during dinner, what the hell was I even trying so hard to be friends for? Sure, I wouldn’t mind fucking him but that’s probably all that he’s good for anyway. I wouldn’t even want to be friends with someone like that, who looks down on people who don’t live according to the conventional 9-5 life.
