Loving Mr. Vance in Silence

Loving Mr. Vance in Silence

A collection of classic children's books from Rachel — Goodnight Moon, Where the Wild Things Are, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. "These were my favorites," Rachel said quietly. Emma hugged her. "She's going to love them." Rachel pulled back. "I hope so." "She will. Because they're from you." --- At 3:00 PM, Emma sat down to rest. Her feet were swollen. Her back ached. The baby was kicking — not hard, but insistent, like she was trying to tell Emma something. "You're doing too much," Nick said, sitting beside her. "I'm sitting."

Ex-husband Regrets: I married a Billionaire Single-Dad

Ex-husband Regrets: I married a Billionaire Single-Dad

I glance down at the small hand still holding mine. How do you explain something like this to a child? None of it belongs in the world of an eight-year-old girl. My eyes hand on the book sitting on the bedside table and i slowly reach for it. The cover shows a colorful illustration of a little fox standing in a forest. I open it absentmindedly, flipping through the pages as I try to think. Iris watches me patiently. Finally, I sigh softly and close the book halfway, then I look back at her.

Reincarnation: My Memories

Reincarnation: My Memories

Golden had spent the last two years for that moment, so he continued without realizing that the sky had darkened hours ago. Golden had read a lot of books since he was born, a frightening number for a six-year-old kid. Even though the people knew that he was a bookworm, no one could even imagine how many books he had really read. When Golden finished the thick book he was reading, the Last Wish System finally reacted in his mind.

MAY

MAY

"Are you seriously crying because you want your mom to buy you a book?" "Yes. I want to read it." "So if I buy it for you now, you'll read it?" Iby questioned. He couldn't believe a six-year-old could actually read books as big as that. Maryam nodded with a smile, "Yes." He started walking to the shop, "Okay I will buy it and you will read every word out loud for me." She held his hand, dragging him back. "No Uncle Iby. I can't." He furrowed his brows, "Why? I thought you said you wanted to read?"

May represents a large number of women that are constantly abused in their homes but still manage to smile and live through it. I hope women in similar situations reading this book get some of the happiness that May gets.
The Dream Elixir
This book was beautifully written and I enjoyed it so very much. It made me feel so many things and I was on the edge of my seat for most of the while because I really wanted the best for May. I felt so much anger towards Edric, uncertainty towards Tega, and love for Edric. definitely insightful

RISE OF THE FORGOTTEN HEIRESS

RISE OF THE FORGOTTEN HEIRESS

It’s… sterile. The bed is neatly made, every fold sharp and exact, like no child has ever jumped on it. The walls are plain cream, unmarked, undecorated, bare of posters or drawings. A single shelf stands in the corner, stacked with books that look far too heavy for a six-year-old to enjoy. No bright covers, no fairy tales, just thick spines with serious titles. It doesn’t feel like a child’s room at all. It feels like a guest space.

The Bratva Don's Forced Bride & His Secret Baby

The Bratva Don's Forced Bride & His Secret Baby

I asked, handing her a list. “Oh hi, let me see… Um, The tale of Peter Rabbit, Where the Wild Things Are, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and Goodnight Moon. Wow, what an amazing collection you are after, you sure do know the best.” She smiled cheerfully. “Thank you.” I smiled. “You are welcome, and yes… we do have all of those. Just take this direction…” She said and pointed us toward the children’s section. My palms grew damp. I prayed Nikolai wouldn’t ask why.

The Mafia Boss

The Mafia Boss

A little girl cuddled the precious book in her tiny hand as she crossed the street with her mother. Her short black hair blew in the breeze and her eyes shone with joy. A big smile plastered her pretty face as she looked up at her mother. "Can we go watch Cinderella tonight mama?" she asked "Yes we can sweetie." her mother replied "Let's get the groceries first then we'll go home and make popcorn." The little six-year old laughed and followed her mother to the supermarket.

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

The Dollmaker's Daughter at Christmas

He laid the book aside for just a moment and smiled at the sweet face of his youngest daughter, her blonde curls pulled into sharp braids behind her ears, just the way her mother liked them. Serendipity giggled, looking up at the ruddy face of her dark-haired father. “When shall I learn to read, Papa?” she asked, shifting her eyes to the much-loved volume as it sat on the end table next to Papa’s comfy chair. Across the room from them, on the much-loved bookshelf, sat volumes by Clement C. Moore, Lewis Carroll, and Serendipity’s very favorite, Hans Christian Anderson. “Soon,” Rudolph confirmed. “You’re going on five years old now. Both of your sisters learned when they were about your age. H

Alpha Rafael: Chasing My Ex Wife

Alpha Rafael: Chasing My Ex Wife

In as much as I'm ready to protect my son, I don't know how to wipe down that one incident down. It was in a small community center just across town. Rows and rows of books filled the room. Derrick was immediately lost between shelves, holding up colorful titles with wide eyes. "Mom! Aunt Lila! Look! Dinosaurs and Space Explorers in one book!" "Get it," Ava laughed, grabbing it for him. "And maybe this one too? It's about wolves." "Like the ones in your stories?" he asked. She nodded. "Exactly." Derrick shrugged, already marching toward the fantasy book section like he owned the place. "Books are my best friends. They don't yell. They don't lie. They just tell stories."

This is really a good story. While I do enjoy a good revenge story, I also think Raphael should have directed it towards the real culprit Linda instead of targeting Lila. I expected her wolf to be more of her defender rather than telling her to submit to him. Maybe that will change the more I read

Dad, the author should finish this book. Because the left. In us, hanging waiting for the ending of this look, I don't understand it's just been months now and it's still not finished. If that was a finish, then there was messed up.
