She gave me two books, and she asked me to read them if I had challenges concerning any of my teen problems. I was happy she showed that concern. At least, she was feeling guilty. But maybe she's afraid of coming to me cause maybe she was thinking i may not give her that kind of chance she wanted. definitely she can't define my mood neither do I. After staring at the vast beautiful green grass, you find your self laughing at an old joke you remembered alone. They say lone wolves do not get far alone but here you are alone, okay, happy. Then it hits you, the reality hits you, you are free from depression and anxiety, you don’t want to kill yourself anymore, you want to live, you want to try, literature is one of your best classes. I scoffed, I realized I actually had no choice but to read instead of just staying here and drowning in my thoughts and depression. I soon started feeling like I was depressed. I already know the feeling of depression, they include, feeling of hopelessness, difficulty concentrating, irritability, tearfulness, and loss of interest. I could try to tell myself that I am fine, and I do not need to think that I am depressed at such a young age in my life, but I know that all I am is feeling at the time, is actually what I had read sometime ago. Finally, as if my prayers was finally heard, He opened his eyes. It took too long before he finally opened it all, I was so happy, he looked happy too.

"Not fine, Our professor took my book, I can't read my love anymore!" I cried and a sudden slap landed on my head. Ouch! "What the F**k! Be serious, Ami" and she's a little a****n by the way. "I'm serious, Sheen, I'm depressed! They took my book away, they took my happiness!!" Now I was like a five-year-old kid throwing tantrums to her mother for not buying her sweets. I stamped my feet in intense disappointment.

C H A P T E R 2 : T H E B L U E E N V E L O P E ~ Being depressed is like falling into a black hole that you can not climb out of. Depression is a wound that never heals. A wound in the back of your mind that can’t be touched because it hurts too much. It’s always there and never goes away. Constant pain, a constant reminder. Every thought is a battle, every breath is a war, and you will lose on both fronts if you give it a chance.

I say. "Sure thing." She stands up from the dining table and walks out. In my bedroom, I sit on my bed thinking about almost everything. "Sitting here feeling depressed won't help me in anyway," I say out loud and head downstairs to grab a book from my dad's shelves. I choose one that I've never read before, one that's about the first world war. Yeah, pretty boring but, I need something to put me to sleep very fast. Without wasting time, I'm back in my room in a jiffy and change into my tiny shorts and tank top. I lie down on my bed and start reading.
