Novel & Cerita Books Like My Lady Jane

I kinda feel youth coming back to me whenever I talk to them. “My Lady always has a strange position while sleeping…” Oh, it’s not Mel… Was it Lisa? No, was it Jane then? “Our poor Lady probably missed the Master.” I can hear two of them sniffle, while I heard two light slaps. Well, that’s Jane. She’s always the brutal one. But what? Who’s poor? Who’s missing who? These girls really have imaginative minds. I sighed. People in this manor have started thinking that I’m in love with Gavin and I’m pathetic because Gavin’s always been busy.

Of all the people she had mistakenly bothered, it had to be the man who Lady Francine had dubbed these days as ‘a jerk’. He had on reading glasses and a book in his hand that had a dark blue hardcover with the title ‘Veranda’. One of the ones she saw in the shop and the one that nobles and commoner ladies alike are reading recently. A romance story about a country bumpkin who swept the attention of a widowed man who has a daughter. She didn’t see the appeal of it so just chucks it up as generic romance. The women of Polvaros seem to be enamored with it, however. Maybe her taste in books is broken since even Rodrick, who his mistress has to describe as a soulless man, was enjoying his time wi

The warm glow is enough for me, as my feet shuffle towards the books. All first collections. My fingers reach for their spines as I go from row to row, my eyes getting even wider as I move. Jane Austen’s first collection. To Kill a Mockingbird. Pride and Prejudice. Crime and Punishment. Ulysses. The Great Gatsby. These had to have cost a fortune. I reach the end of the top row and grab a book. Jane Eyre. A door cracks open in a corner, but it sounds so far away that I don’t move. Until a second later when I hear footsteps right behind me.

Mirra had brought some food or me from the handmaid quarter and after we had lunch, I placed the book infront of me and continued reading. Most of the stories on the book the Prince had given me were on the book I had brought from home. They are all simple light hearted stories that shall not be taken seriously, it wall all too similar with some beauty falling in love with a beast. I had looked through both books for a while and I didn't look up until I heard Mirra walk in. "My Lady, You're still on that book?" She asked as she walked closer. "Still?" I questioned before I looked over to the closed windows to see that it was past sunset. "I didn't realized the time had passed."

It looked like the tall, redhead woman was the event planner and the petite blonde behind her was her assistant. "Good afternoon, Miss Montelebalo. Janeth Gallardo here. And this is my assistant, Russell." The petite blonder extended her hand and introduced herself. Alice shook her hand and offered her to sit on the couch. She herself sat in front of her and when I sat beside her, she eyed me angrily, which caused me to scoot away. "What kind of theme do you want? I mean, what is the message we are sending. Warm and bubbly? Cool and composed? Conservative?" Janeth asked as she crossed her legs.

I turned to her who was staring at the painting too. Bellva nodded her head. "You're absolutely right. But I also like novels." She looked at me with a smile. "I like Holly Black's books. Especially, The Cruel Prince. What novels do you like?" "I like too many, but the only thing I'm addicted to is the novels by Jane Austeen and Sarah J. Maas." And I mentioned the title to her. "I'll try to read it. Sounds good." "I can lend it to you." "Thank you, Amanda." She smiled, I replied it.

No initials nor any marks or clue which effectively made her intrigued more. Upon opening the gift, she was surprised by its content. It proved to be a book entitled ‘In the Gods Own Hands’ authored by J.M. Felic. “Ah, where have I read this author before?” Lianne thought to herself, somewhat unable to recall the author’s previous works that she might have read in the library. “With so many books that passed in your hands my dear, I don’t think you’d be able to remember that one author,” Lady Faye commented.

Mildred looked at the name of the book and she smiled so eerily. " I can see that, " she smiled again, " I'll take you to the book and you can knock yourself out ". She took me to the olden book shelves. And then brought out the book I had requested.. "Wow! This is a huge book ". I complained but not entirely... " Yeah! It's history about the first twin sisters, what did you expect?". She smiled, and then continued, " But if you don't want to read the book the story's and pictures are online to read ". She opened the computer and then logged into the library website...

She folded the sheet into the false spine of the book and closed it. Then she turned off the light and lay in bed, staring up at the ornate ceiling. Beneath her calm, her mind churned. The Mendez estate was a fortress. But even fortresses had fractures. And Avyanna, patient and precise, had begun the slow, quiet work of finding every one.

Leah Falco's POV The old lady looks at me with a circumstance face while I can only think about leaving this hateful feudal-style room. I feel like one of those maidens kidnapped by vandals in the Mallory series.* 'Mallory: book series created by Johanna Lindsey' "I can help you," I offer with a pleading expression. "Dean said..."
