Books Like The Westing Game Novels & Stories

Thank you so much for coming along with me on this adventure. This first book has proven to be extremely difficult. I’m sure you’re wondering if Sierra’s journey will end here, or what Zaiden will discover in Queen Esme’s journal. Well, I won’t keep you waiting too long. I will reveal all this and more in the novels that follow. Order of the Ambersky Pack Series: 1. Wolves & Magic (completed) 2. A Dark Revenge (TBD)

There was a small dish on the windowsill filled with small, fish-shaped biscuits and she grinned, really not picking Mason as a cat person. The room itself was all dark wood and leather, a typical male space. Bookshelves lined the wall on either side of an enormous flatscreen television, but they weren’t filled with books. Correction, they weren’t lined with just books. She walked over and curiously ran her finger along the spines of some of her favorite novels and got a little thrill when she saw that he had the complete series of A.A. Abernathy books. Below the books were pristine covers of various video games, all by the same company, Black Sheep Software and Games.

Dannie picked up another joint from her room and went to the library. Among the ancient books was one of the largest collections of werewolf history in the world. If there was anything on Balric or the black book it was there. She gathered a variety of titles that looked promising and lit the joint. Taking a hit, Dannie opened the first book. Inside was mostly what she already knew.

She raised her hand and with her index finger she brushed the books, reading their titles. There were some that said "satanic pacts" others like "the call of the devil" "the forest and its hidden side" "small town legends" "werewolves and the full moon" and the last one said "Wisconsin Cases". Camila took out that last one, the book was big, it had a red cover with the image of the town itself. But that image was in black and white, as if it was taken years ago.

And then she left. I let out a heavy sigh as if I had just escaped from something dangerous. Alone at last, I wandered between the towering shelves, running my fingers along the spines of books that contained centuries of werewolf history and law. As I got to the back of the library, a particular book with a golden cover caught my attention. I read the title which says; The Evolution of Pack Hierarchies in the United States of America. Hmm, this seems interesting. So I reached for it, sliding it carefully from its place. But as I removed the book, I caught a glimpse of a figure through the gap I took the book from.

"If you find out anything...interesting, don't hesitate to report back to me. I'll take care of the rest." Weston nodded, his face grim. "Yes, master. I understand." As Duncan sat in his dark, dimly lit library, surrounded by shelves of ancient tomes and mysterious artifacts, he opened the usual special book. The book was bound in black leather, adorned with strange symbols and markings that seemed to shift and writhe in the flickering candlelight.

“You were both into the same woman?” “Yeah.” Jax walked over to Mia’s shelf and touched some of the books. On the two bottom shelves, heavy, leather volumes crowded the space. Most of them had legal mumbo jumbo words written in gold. In the middle shelves, romances and mysteries stacked the level. Many of the covers appeared worn and torn at the edges. “It all started off as a game. My brother and I liked to pick a gorgeous woman and do a little healthy gamble for her panties.”

Leather cover, with some witches’ symbols etched on it and the pages, almost looking as though it was almost burnt to ashes. “Well, that’s easier than I expected,” I remarked and moved closer to the book, picking it up from the ground. Holding it with both of my hands, I swept my hand on the surface to dust off the small particles that made its way to my nose. “That’s the grimoire,” Weston said in astonishment. “We should bring this back to the mountain of witches.” “What are you two doing here?” A shudder ran through me as I heard the guy’s voice, making me almost drop the book on the ground if it wasn’t from Weston’s reflex movement.

If you’re below eighteen, you should not read these books as they feature a lot of violence, gore and sex. If you’re a fan of fantasy series with werewolves, demons, vampires, witches, gods and whatnot, you can read THE WICKED GAMES, which is the first in the series called The Spirileaxus Saga. Unfortunately, none of the books in this series is standalone, so you have to read them in chronological order. You can also go for CURSED BLESSINGS. Again, this is book one in the series The Blessed Ones.

Wrong. The first few titles I sift through are the kind I expected to find in a place like this: image-heavy coffee table books about the estate. They have titles like Huntington Manor: A Photographic Tour, or The Architecture of Huntington Manor. Or even Settlers of Barberville: A History of the Region. But buried beneath all of those, I find a book that makes my insides twist. It's called The Cunninghams: The Unauthorized Story. I stare down at the gold embossed letters on the cover. This is a joke, right? This can't be real.
