I've sculpted a character based on my boss, Jacob Carter, in my smutty novel. Jacob, who's a cold, distant, and stern man in reality, is reduced to a lovesick simp in my novel. Apparently, he's maddeningly in love with me there. But when I tender my resignation letter later on, Jacob rips it into shreds before cornering me. "Oh? Are you planning to leave now that you've finished writing that novel of yours? How dare you discard me as soon as you're done with me! What am I, a cheap escort?"

He chuckled and that made me look away from him. "So.. any girlfriend?" I asked changing the topic.. and then I realized how stupid that question is. "No." He shook his head. "You're no fun." I hissed and he chuckled. "Well Rose.. what do you want to do so it can be fun?" "You have no new stories.. entertaint me.. I'm bored.” I crossed my arms in front of my chest. "No new stories.. just work and work.” He said as he took a quick glance to me. "Your life is no fun Max.”

It didn’t make any sense to me. They were lacking in social amenities and basic needs, but I could see that they don’t care about it, or they weren’t aware of what they could have, instead of rolling in their own downfall. I decided to explore more. It wasn’t really my cup of tea, but I was still intrigued. I was drawn in by their situation, that I couldn’t bring myself to turn back and hide in the mansion. There was this small shop that caught my eye. Barden’s Stories were written in bold letters atop the small shop. “Read and delve in your imagination” was written underneath it in cursive.

I’m sure they’re just insecure because we’re beautiful, like goddesses! Ever since Ambrosia left the subdivision to live with her hot son-in-law, everything has felt boring. It really feels like something is missing now. At least Sia managed to get away from this place full of gossipers with nothing better to do. I feel too lazy to move because I’ve already settled comfortably here. What could I possibly do to get rid of this boredom?

Don't overdo it. I don't know how I could possibly do any less physical activity. I've read three books this week. Scrolled through my phone until my eyes burned. Binged every mindless show N*****x has to offer until the characters' voices blur together into meaningless noise. The boredom is almost worse than the pain— it gives my mind too much space to wander into dangerous territory.

I'd define it as, Old boring selves. I was tired of doing nothing once again. It was almost more than half month since I had agreed to his deal, and I was tired of going around each hall everyday trying to pass my time. I swear, if anyone asks me about this whole apartment, I could even tell slightest detail of each wall. Either that, or I spend my time sleeping. Today, I was getting furious of this boring day.
