My hands were steady at first. Then they weren’t. It started in my fingertips. A tremor. Small. Controlled. Then it spread. My arms shook. My shoulders. My jaw. I pressed a fist to my mouth to stop the sound that was trying to crawl out of me. Three years. The number echoed in my skull like something hollow and cruel. I had missed her first smile. I stared at my own hand, half-convinced I'd imagined it, some strange warm pulse that had left as quickly as it arrived. "I'm sorry, I don't—"

I was biting my bottom lips while peeing, my knees won't stop shaking as I stood up and put it on the sink waiting for the results. “Please,” I begged before I flipped it up and looked at the results. I shed tears in instant, and I immediately let it go. My heart is rising so fact that I can't even breath properly. I seated on the floor and cry. I crawled out of the bathroom and took my phone. I was shaking, my body was trembling and all I know is I need them right now. I called them at the same time and when they were answer, “Oli, why did you call?” Naivy.

But I shook it off. Just as I was about to drink from the bottle of water, a tremor ran throughout my body. My hand shook, and the bottle dropped to the ground, sending a sound through the room. I let out a pained groan, my feet staggering back, my hand clutching my chest. My vision was going double. “Uhhh, guys, I think there’s something wrong with me,” I said in a pained voice. I didn’t hear any sound, so I turned to them slowly, as the tremor in my body could allow me to. A spike of pain vibrated through me, and this time, I let out a small scream.

He grunted as we started to walk towards the door. "Are you feeling pain?" I asked when we walked out of his office. "No. I just feel weak" he told me, his voice hoarse. We got to his quarters and I made him sit on his bed. I poured him a glass of water and handed it to him. I was more worried when I saw that his hands were trembling as well. He emptied the glass and handed it over to me. Jaden rose to his feet and walked towards the window, his movements stiff and robotic.

My whole body was shaking—violent, uncontrollable tremors that started in my chest and radiated out to my fingertips, my knees, my teeth. Jonas stayed on the floor in front of the coffee table, laptop now dark, staring at the space where the screen had been. His jaw was clenched so tight I could see the muscle jumping under his skin. He looked sick. Not angry—though there was anger there, simmering low—but sick. Like he’d just witnessed something he could never unsee. They did not notice his strange condition. Javier was sweating. He was cold and hot at the same time. His senses overpowered him and he could not handle it all. He did not even notice when a pair of footsteps sounded again in the room. Someone held his hand and spoke to him. Javier wanted to push this hand away. But he still couldn't move. He tried to focus on his surrounding despite the tremor he was experiencing. After doing his best to do so, he heard an anxious voice. "Don't be afraid. It will be alright...."
