She clenched her fist hard at the sight of Claire. The boys pulled down their hood and she recognized one of them. It was Alex. For the first time, she looked at Alex directly in the face. He has black and curly hair, and green eyes, full eyes brows and long eyelashes. Ashley didn't notice that before, maybe she was just too upset to notice it. She was lost staring at Alex until a slap landed on her cheek. A slap that brought her back to reality. It was Claire. "I swear I'm gonna kill his girl" She fumed inside, struggling to free herself again. Veins popped up on the side of her neck.

The moonbeam seemed to have gotten brighter on Naomi’s turn and Asher watched in anticipation at what color her wolf would be. With the amount of light generated around her, he was already believing her to be white. However, when the moonbeam stopped, he was shocked to see the black-furred wolf with the bluest eyes he had ever seen. Never had he expected her fur color to be black. Naomi shook her body —from her head to tail— and her bright blue eyes turned to Asher.

Every eye locked in the same direction. At him. At the creature standing in the middle of the sand, blood dripping from his jaw, his fur white as fresh snow. The wolf. The same one from my dreams. Asher. He towers over the others. His body is massive, pure muscle and rage, covered in fur so bright it seems to glow against the scorched earth. His claws are like knives, soaked in red. His fangs, goddess, his fangs gleam under the broken sunlight. His icy blue eyes scan the chaos, wild and sharp and deadly.

Blood stained the clearing, a crimson proof of the fight for survival. Draven, a whirlwind of silver fur and sharp teeth, moved like a predator, each strike a testament to his honed skills, each growl a chilling reminder of his might. He cut through the enemy ranks, a beacon of hope for the Howling Wind pack, a storm of fury against the darkness. Asher, a loyal wolf, moved with the grace of a panther, his eyes never leaving his target. He fought with the precision of an expert, his claws a blur of deadly accuracy.

Asher responded with a snarl, his massive form charging forward with terrifying speed. They collided. The force of the impact sent shockwaves through the air, cracking the earth beneath them. Trees groaned in protest as if the forest itself was about to shatter. Seraphina’s white wolf lashed out, her claws raking across Asher’s black fur, but he countered with his own swipe, his claws tearing into her side. They rolled, their massive bodies colliding in a blur of white and black, their power sending ripples of energy through the very ground beneath them.

"Ignatius, swipe." The light grey wolf lashed out. His claws caught Ashur’s shoulder, carving three red lines through the fur. Ashur let out a sharp, pained yelp. Blood began to drip onto the grass. "And then the kill. The lock. Ashur, throat." Ashur lunged. His jaws opened wide, strings of spit flying. He snapped his teeth an inch from Ignatius’ jugular before pulling back and slamming his weight into the other wolf’s side. They went back to the dirt, snarling and snapping.

My claws aimed at his throat. Asher shifted too, a big dark brown wolf, bigger than me and more experienced. We crashed in the middle of the tent. Wood broke. Cloth ripped. His teeth almost bit my neck, but I dodged and clawed his side until blood sprayed. The smell of his blood made me even crazier. We rolled out of the tent and hit the campfire. Sparks flew everywhere. Some recruits woke up and shouted. They did not know who to help, me or Asher.

I softly muttered to Delilah. “Always,” Delilah giddily smirked. Slowly my hands thicken and expand into paws. The sounds of breaking bones echoed throughout the forest. Cream fur started to envelop my body as I thudded onto the forest floor. Delilah was a beautiful wolf spirit. She had cream fur with light honey brown markings contouring her nose, winging her eyes, and hugging the edges of her ears.

The girl was thrown far away —rolling off the top of the hill. In the next split second Damien waved his hand again, then made a movement like he was tying something from a distance. At the same time Leona groaned as her body felt like it was bound. Ash turned around, jumped into the air with part of his body starting to grow gray fur, then lunged and attacked Damien with his wolf body.
