A snarl breaks the silence. Asher shoves me behind him instinctively, but I’m already moving, ducking deeper into the ravine as a dark form lunges from the brush above. Asher meets it head-on, a blur of motion and force. The clash is brutal, fast, teeth snapping, bodies colliding. Another presence surges toward us. I react without thinking. I grab a fallen branch, snap it in half, and swing—not wildly, but precisely. It connects with a crack against ribs. The wolf yelps, stunned long enough for Asher to tear into it, driving it back.

She clenched her fist hard at the sight of Claire. The boys pulled down their hood and she recognized one of them. It was Alex. For the first time, she looked at Alex directly in the face. He has black and curly hair, and green eyes, full eyes brows and long eyelashes. Ashley didn't notice that before, maybe she was just too upset to notice it. She was lost staring at Alex until a slap landed on her cheek. A slap that brought her back to reality. It was Claire. "I swear I'm gonna kill his girl" She fumed inside, struggling to free herself again. Veins popped up on the side of her neck.

Vivian dodged effortlessly, retaliating with a hardened fist. Aurora groaned and staggered backward, a drop of blood slipping from her nose. Then, she lunged, moving like a cannonball, struck at Vivian's chest. The smug look on Vivian's face faltered, her expression finally becoming serious. Aurora’s body moved like a blur, her strikes were acute and precise. While Vivian didn’t fight, she danced. Her movements were like a cunning snake, flexible and deadly. "Yes." Bartram led the way; he opened the door and stepped outside. Adrian followed him out. The door slammed shut, and Adrian's eyes scanned the place for Luna. His eyes widened when he saw her alongside Ashford. Their backs were pressed against each other, and they both glared in the same direction. The creatures lunged at them; in a flash, they sped off, and Luna hit one creature's neck, cutting its neck. Ashford hit the second one with the blade and caught Luna by the hand. He swung her, and she sped off again. Kneeing another with her elbow, she dug the dagger into its skin and puked it down.

I didn’t let her finish before striving towards her, andrenaline washed over me as i thought about the lies and fake emotions put on me to see. Aurora was a bit shocked by my speed and when i jabbed out my hands at her, something else was different, my vision was sharper and so was my fingers, they had extended and could be almost called as claws as i jabbed at her, her eyes widened a bit and she raised her hands up to block. The knives clenched against the steel and small sparks rode out of the collision. I pressed harder pushing her backwards, she slid and when it looked like she was going to reach a dead end she pressed even further and kicked her knees up at me.

His mouth moved to try to speak and only light growls came from his muzzle. "You are going to have to shift back when Micah gets here so he can give you his conversion venom. I know that it's going to be painful but you gotta stay strong for me, okay dad," I mumbled softly and saw his green eyes close as he nodded. I continued running my fingers through his thick auburn fur waiting for Micah to arrive. I heard loud cursing a thump and Jayna screaming. "I believe that Micah punched Xavier," I mumbled sourly and Ashton chuckled, having shifted and then winced. Micah came in rubbing his hand and exhaled deeply seeing his mate.

Neither boys were able to keep up with him. Ash connected his fist with Type nose breaking it, he then spun around slamming Type on his back breaking his arm in the process. Type screamed out in pain as Earth ran up to him staying him with a blade in the shoulder.

The Death Wolf lunged. Claws carved through the air, seeking Heratte’s flesh. His attack struck true, raking down her arm—only for the black blood that spilled to stitch itself back together. Heratte smirked. She saw the flicker of disbelief in his glowing eyes. He attacked again. Their bodies crashed against trees, uprooting them with the sheer force of their battle, leveling the land beneath them.
